I knew I was codependent in romantic relationships but I now realize I’m codependent with my children. I knew I had to stop fixing my adult daughter’s problems but I did not see that as codependence. Putting the emphasis on self-care is a great tip because now I realize I was just projecting my own fears onto her anyway. Lightbulb moment!
Great video, such clarity, thx ☺️

This video has opened my eyes to a lot of small things I can start doing for myself and for my family. Thank you for breaking it down so simply and for speaking with such a kind heart. I just realized recently the gravity in which my codependency impacts all aspects of my life. It’s the start of a new journey for me.

Love the advice and the video is short and to the point which is fabulous! Just beginning my healing journey but I really liked that you said saying yes when we really mean no. I struggle with that A LOT. I will work on these.

My husband and I just started watching your channel. I did come across your website for a reason. You are already helping us so much...and yes we both also have therapists! This whole video felt like a personal message to me! lol I do struggle with how to treat my kids as they are autistic as well (so is my husband) and we all have adhd. So I would say I have felt that my husband and now my kids have definitely needed more help and advice. I'm just not sure where that line is when it comes to those that may need help...and of course I was raised to be a people-pleaser which has been detrimental for me. It seems to be a delicate balance with co-dependency when you add in autism and adhd.
