It's important to note, the only people who will see exceptional results (ie, "15 lbs") are the ones who eat a lot of gluten, starch, sugars, and seed oils normally - because those things hold water inside your cells. Making these exchanges releases that water, thus the scale goes down - but it won't stay down unless you then continue this eating style in addition to exercise.

@KetoKamp you neglected to list the #1 fat: tallow/suet! These are available commercially now even though I make my own.
Left out allulose too.

Also, you donโ€™t exclude oxalates-rich foods ie. Quinoa, in the no-go zone. These are inflammatory.

I had lost almost 60 lbs 4 - 5 years ago on a keto style diet. Over the past couple of years I'd gained back about 40 lbs by reintroducing grains, sugars and seed oils into my diet. Started feeling bloated and crappy again. I'm now on my 8th day of eating better and feeling much better. Bloat is gone, pants fit better, sleeping better...down around 7 pounds.

For me, its not so much what I eat, but what I DON'T eat: Grains, sugar in all forms, and possibly most important IMO, GARBAGE SEED OILS. And I try to keep a tight eating schedule. OMAD or at least a 3-4 hour window.

I can attest to canola oil.
I had been eating a high protein diet i was taking a road trip and stopped in a coffee place and ordered a bagel with butter with canola oil. I had to eat something because low blood sugar symptoms were setting in and felt faint.
The next day, i felt so sick.
I thought it may have been lack of electrolytes but took a lot of the electrolyte in powder form which shouldve worked.
It took a couple of days but eventually i started feeling normal again
