I am a grown man and I can't remember the last time I cried. I also deal with anxiety disorder and I can't even begin to describe how much this practice helped me. Today was just one panic attack after the other. I did this during my break at work just now and I am still teary eyed. While I was going through poses I just started crying for some reason and felt sudden sense of calm. I don't remember the last time I felt this calm. You have saved me and I don't know how to even start expressing my gratitude.

This literally saved me tonight. I was spiraling down through an enormous anxiety attack for about an hour and a half when I started to desperately search YouTube for something to help calm me down.

After a few videos that did nothing, It led me to this.. and THIS made a difference (even if I couldn’t put my head to my knee.. lol).

Adriene, I know you get hundreds of comments on your videos so you probably won't see this but I just wanted to tell you how much you have helped me in my life. I have long had a problem with health anxiety but it's been particularly bad since late last year. My Dr told me to try yoga but the classes in my town in England are far too expensive so I found you. You are such a wonderful teacher, I am completely engaged in you and yoga and you have enabled me to find a peace in my head I never thought I would find. I practise every day and finish feeling whole again. I will be eternally greatful. THANK YOU xxxx Katie xx

I did this before bed, so as soon as we hit the ground with the pillow, i fell asleep. Imagine waking up at 1:30 in the morning on the ground on your yoga mat. Loved the practice!

I've used alternate nostril breathing now several times to stop panic attacks. Adriene really knows her stuff.

I just spent the last hour crying, and feeling so down and anxious... I came into this practice not believing in it or myself and I came out of it calm, collected, and at peace. Thank you so very much for this. <3

I did this practice today and burst into tears mid-practice. I didn't know I had that cry deep inside me, but it feels good to have released it. Yoga is so incredibly healing and I hope to share the gift of yoga with others in the future. Thank you for sharing with us

adriene does it again. As I lie flat for shavasana, I am overwhelmed with emotions and tears just stream down my face. I love that yoga has that ability. It breaks through and after my practice, I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I hope I can get a good night's rest and will be back to do this practice again.

Perfect practice a day after my first Moderna vaccination. I did not have to do much with the sore right shoulder, and even my neck which had become tight immediately after the injection (lymph nodes), loosened a bit.

Cultivate day 20. 320 days in a row.

I felt really off on Wednesday super anxious couldn’t calm down didn’t know how to handle it. The next morning I did this practice and the breathing technique really recentered me and shifted my brain back into a calmer state. With the hip open I started crying and I felt it flow. This practice made me feel like myself again. Thank you so much Adrienne for this practice.
