I'm 58. Was an ultra runner. Struggled with SI joint issues all my life. I've always done some free wts. But never felt I was fully doing them well. I've been wanting to step things up. Thank you for sharing this detailed information and the most effective exercise. ❤ I'd say I'm coming out of an " injury" because of how little lean muscle I have left. I just turned 55. I went through surgical menopause at age 27. I'm just now starting hrt. For nearly two decades, I have slept 2-4 hours and have been inactive, just doing basic activities of living. I just started strength training at home, doing myofascial release, balance and mobility stuff. Recovery time especially if i overdo it, is lengthy. I also need to build my stamina. I've recently started using creatine to aide with recovery. I'm trying to eat regularly and practice "my plate" guidelines to ensure I get around 800g fiber and 30g protien and a small amount of carbs, per meal. My doctor recently gave me my lipid panel numbers and said I'm pre diabetic because of the lack of muscle and eating a high fat, low carb diet. It's my mission to slowly build some muscle. I know it's not easy to build one pound of muscle and I'd like at least 20 lbs of muscle! I'm 5'5 130ish lbs " skinny fat" metabolicly

Aloha from Honolulu, JJ! I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel and I've been learning so very much from watching you! I am 71 years old, and have always done classes at my local gym but unfortunately it closed down during Covid. So I turned my TV room into a home gym and loving this more than fighting traffic, looking for a parking space, and running into a class that never really explained proper form and nutrition, which I am learning from your videos. I bought that large workout ball from your site on Amazon but haven't used it yet. Do you ever do workout classes on YouTube using this ball? Mahalo for that you do, JJ!

Thank you for these great exercises I haven't worked out for 3 months because I have herniated discs I'm in physical therapy now but once I get healed I'll do these exercises except for the deadlifts which are not good for the lower back

It's like you read my mind - this is exactly what I was looking for, just yesterday! I got a DEXA and have 0 visceral fat but some (more than I would like) subcutaneous fat. I realize I can't spot reduce, but I would love to reduce the overall subcutaneous just a bit. DEXA was awesome and showed I have great bone density despite menopause at 44. Thank you!! I appreciate.

Hi, great videos you have. I want to build some muscles on my lower body. Your legs look absolutely amazing, but I would like to build a bit more muscle than you have. I'm not looking to get really big like some body builders do at all, I just want to build more muscle. I want larger legs than you have. Do you have any videos for that or advice I've been looking at a lot of your videos and haven't seen this. Thank you very much! Or could I use this video in some way to do this?
