Are you 'too fat' for pullups?

You're not too fat for pullups. You're just doing weighted pullups!

People pay good money for quality weights. You have it attached to you.

Yes, you SEEM to progress more slowly, but you're pulling more weight and getting that much stronger.

Start with a progression you can do (usually some type of horizontal pullup at varying heights), and lose weight as you train.

You can gain strength and lose weight at the same time!

The title isn't meant to offend anyone. It's just how people ask the question. They don't say "am I too heavy?" or "am I too overweight?"

They're usually like "am i too fat for this? lol"

The answer is probably no, because they can start with a progression they can do and work it until they're strong enough to move on!

The can lose weight while they do this. No reason to miss out on strengthening a fundamental movement.

I don't mind changing it if a bunch of people are upset though. I'm pretty neutral about that.

“you’re lucky enough to have that attached to you” “you’re getting that much more stronger” I’m feeling emotional about how positive and encouraging this lil video was :, ) about all fitness stuff.

I know you're not gonna read it. But you're the reason I finally found the motivation to start loosing weight. I struggle with it due to illnesses and medication that made me gain a lot of weight over the years, but seeing your videos helped me a LOT.

You're a wonderful human being. Thank you for being awesome and inspiring!

I started working out more recently, I’ve never had much strength and couldn’t do but only 3 consecutive pullups, and just today I did 10 consecutive I just wanted to say that you’re an inspiration to me and thank you for that keep up the good work :)

You are the nicest person I've ever seen when it comes to showing that everyone has the power to exercise and that it's ok to start at the bottom

Hampton I imagine this wasn't your target demographic but my six year old daughter did her first body weight bridge today following your bridge progression. She's in gymnastics so this is huge for her and she's very excited. Thank you so much.
