At 77 my grandson suggested I should do something with weights after two hip replacements. I have been following your programme for two months and feel so much stronger, more balanced, more energetic, and with a lighter mood. Thank you for the variety, pace and explanations. I just want to say I deeply appreciate your non-judgemental and accessible approach. I've never been in fantastic shape but being sedentary during early COVID lockdown had disastrous effects on my body and I've often felt hopeless, self-conscious, and just plain scared to work out ever since because traditional fitness culture can be very intimidating. I find your videos so helpful and your attitude so encouraging so thank you for sharing your work 💙

Love how you explain how lighter weight is plenty with shoulder and upper back work...otherwise it goes up into the neck and makes tension worse. Brilliant as always, Jessica!

I am begining my weight training with this workout and 3lb. Weights. Previously used yoga as my main practice but want to build muscle mass and retain strength as I age as now I am 70! Thanks for your wonderful offerings and commitment to all of us. Your attitude is so inspiring

OMG love love love this class! I recently found out I have a prolapse of my uterus and I'm 69, no children. I've done yoga for years, in particular yin but I knew I needed to get back into pilates. I was gobsmacked that you had multiple prolapse and I found my pilates instructor!! I also badly needed to add weights, this was sooo perfect and will do over and over until I feel ready for the next level. Thank you for opening up and sharing your story.

Loved this workout! I’m definitely feeling more able to do strength training and want to incorporate it more often now. I think it’s my new favourite. I’m in Canada and can’t afford the courses you offer but you’ve helped me more than anyone else. Thank you for all your work Jessica. Jessica, I am also on a breast cancer journey. I was diagnosed with DCIS this fall and opted for lumpectomy (with bilateral reduction/lift) followed by radiation. My surgery was 3 weeks ago and radiation will start in a few weeks. I can totally relate to the feeling of walking around in a fog. Even though I am an RN and am familiar with much of the medical jargon, there is still so much that is new. Sending prayers for you in your journey.

👍Thank you Jessica. Just subscribed. Great explanations and not overly taxing. Great for beginners. Due to my work (hunched over a computer 8 - 10 hours a day sometimes) I have developed the most awful pains in my shoulders and back. This has lead to expensive massages several times a month. Last week I decided lifting a few weights after work would probably help. Within a few days I can feel the difference. Been searching all over YT for a routine to follow. Found yours the best. Aimed at my age group (50) and given I am now chronically unfit, I know I need to get stronger as I age for all the reasons you gave. Only managed 5 minutes so far, but early days and I am dealing with body stiffness and soreness. Look forward to building up over time.
