This might be my favorite YWA video ever. Been practicing with varying consistency for years, and for some reason it's been a few months since I've been on the mat. And then the comforting ease of Adreine and Benji in the yoga room, so familiar, welcoming me back to this space I've neglected. This has everything, gentle movement, classic Benji, a beautiful reminder that even Adriene loses her balance sometimes, and the intention that popped into my head was "return to your breath", which is something that I've heard Adriene say hundreds of times but today it felt like coming home. What a gift. Thank you Adreine and YWA team.

I went through a lot of domestic violence with my most recent partner. On one occasion he sliced up my yoga mat into several pieces with his switch blade. I used to practice everyday, but because of this I haven't been able to practice for months. I cried when I tried because I was reminded of what happened. We've broken up and he finally moved out yesterday. This morning when I woke up, this video was in my notifications. I took it as a sign. First thing, hopping out the bed, I followed along and got through it without tears. I always knew I didn't need a mat to practice, but I felt like a part of me was hijacked. This was the first step to getting back to myself. Thank you, Adriene.

Morning routine:

1) Write to-do list, including many tasks to punish or compensate for my perceived lack of productivity or laziness the day before.

2) A session with Adriene, realising that I can do things which feel good while benefitting me in the long and short term.

3) Cross off all of the unnecessary and harsh tasks on my to-do list.

4) Breathe easily.

I woke up much earlier than usual this morning and was rewarded with my first YWA premiere screening. I sat cross-legged on my block watching watching the timer on the screen counting down and the number of viewer waiting with me increase. I’m feeling the power of the live community this morning. Good morning everyone!

It always amuses me when Adriene thanks the viewer because I just want to thank her every time for making this exist! This channel is easily one of my favorite part of youtube and honestly one of the most wonderful uses of such a service! I'm so thankful for her and her team for finding ways to make this series! Yoga with Adriene is one of my best habits!

As soon as she said “and slide down into home base” I let out a maniacal burst of laughter and then promptly burst into tears. It’s been well over four months since I’ve practiced yoga daily, like I was before I started lifting weights and the release I felt at those words was more powerful than I was expecting. It’s nice to read the comments and realize I’m not alone and that many others shared in this exact feeling. What a wonderful world we live in guys. ❤

It's been awhile since I've done yoga. Adding grad school to my life made me think I "no longer have time, " but this practice just felt like coming home. Thank you. Started practicing with Adriene since the 2016 30 days of yoga. Adriene, you have changed the world. Keep being you!

Greet day 12🎉 going forward a bit in the calendar as I completely forgot to do my daily yoga with it being mothers day and spending the day with my mum. But so happy I found a quick video in the calendar and made it to my mat. Thank you, Adriene, for this perfect practice. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Getting back into yoga since total knee replacement surgery. I can’t do it all but making the commitment to doing 1 yoga with Adrienne per day.

You have gotten me through some of my hardest moments by reminding me I am courageous for showing up to the mat - no matter what I am feeling.

I always end up coming back to your videos - each time I need a push. I sincerely feel now, through years of healing, you have been the missing piece of what was giving me… peace… within myself.

So I find myself back here and I will be starting one of your monthly challenges - when I felt the best I had ever felt was after completing that month several years ago: through years, smiles and pain: I felt strong, capable and was in the longest remission from BPD.
