I did this and it caused more pain the next day, BUT I continued anyways and over time, the relief set in. Now I am in fear to stop doing it lol. It works folks.

I always was told hip pain is due to muscle imbalance in the lower back and glutes, and stretching where there is pain can actually make it worse. I'd be curious your thoughts on the accuracy of this approach? All I know is I've seemingly tried everything and my hips hurt almost all the time, whether I'm laying on my back in bed or running down the street. I'm 25yo and an athlete so I cannot so much blame it on age or under activity.

Perfect timing. Seated with my feet planted two feet apart. If I bring knees to meet my knees together in the middle, I Feel a nagging sharp pain in the left hip front psoas what is causing this. , I will try your exercise And I will let you know if it works. I want to be able to seated stretch I just described without the nagging sharp pain….
Can I do this exercise on both sides ?

Can u please give help to relieve lumber facet joints pinching nerves causing lower back, buttock and leg pain. Physio hasnt worked..cortezone injections has helped a little. Thank you

In 2012, I fractured 5 vertebra and 2 ribs, when bending over to pick up my 65lb dog (I was 48 then). I was diagnosed with Advanced Secondary Osteoporosis, with 80% bone loss.

Are these exercises safe for someone like me?
