15 Minute Deep Stretch for Splits

You know that feeling when your body needs a good, deep stretch?! That is totally me right now, so I hope you will come stretch it out with me!

We're gonna focus on those hamstrings, quads and hips to hopefully get into those splits! I'll be using yoga blocks to assist me, but you can do them without yoga blocks or with a item you do have, like pillows, instead.

Let’s not forget, nor deny, that this level of flexibility is not the norm, that it is VERY advanced, and that it is truly OK if you are far from it! Even if you barely can sit down, straight legs and back, it’s already a HUGE accomplishment! You got this 💪

Cassie!! You've been my fitness coach for over 8 years now. You are seriously the best! You should receive a Nobel Peace Prize for your service to humanity. Was it not for you, I would probably be sick and in terrible physical condition for being too sedentary. I love you!

Your 30 min splits stretching routine from last year was amazing, it took me 'only' 4 months to get in the splits on both sides. Can't wait to try this one out!

I am a few inches away from getting my splits!! I have been stretching for a year, fairly consistently, and I am almost there! It is all thanks to all of Casey's flexibility videos they have helped me soooo much! It has taken me a long time, but flexibility is different for everyone, and that is completely okay :) thank you Casey for all of your videos, they have gotten me to where I am today <3

Just wanted to say that if this video doesn't get you anywhere close to the splits, it doesn't mean you aren't making a ton of progress! I started out doing the Blogilates 30 day split challenge about 3 years ago. It took me 1.5-2 years to get into front splits on both legs. Now, I can do middle splits. I always need to do a set of stretches before getting into them and it took me A LOT longer than 30 days. But Cassey's stretches work (especially when done after a cardio workout), work super well. I used to have a ton of inflammation in my ankles and legs and they even helped me.

I've been working on my splits semi-regularly for the past two years. I took Cassey's suggestion about using the block but put it under my thigh, since it can't reach the ground yet, and WOAH!!! Dramatic difference afterwards in the stretch. I hadn't seen progress like that the whole time and I have done a lot of stretching videos, some Blogilates and some yoga.

My splits have been very stubborn but I had a breakthrough today from this video and went all the way down on both sides!
