Thank you for the explanation of neutral spine. I have had clicking/popping in my lower back for years. This happened anytime I did exercises when i lifted my legs - so i avoided many exercises. When I focus on maintaining a neutral spine this doesn't happen!!! Your tutorial helped me more than other explanations of neutral spine i've heard in the past.

I have been doing Pilates since Mari Windsor introduced it to me many years ago (I know, showing my age!😊)! I love this form of workout and credit it for keeping in shape and reducing stress for all these years. But, I'm so glad that I found your channel and, just recently, your "beginner" class. It is so detailed, clear and helpful in getting the form correct. I can't wait to do all in this series. I feel like I will actually be doing it correctly and getting so many more benefits! Thank you so much for this video! I really appreciate how you cover things other beginner videos don't. It's stressful as a beginner sometimes because I'm not sure if certain modifications are ok or what is correct/incorrect but your video really addresses my questions.

Concise directions that I get.  I've just begun getting into Pilates and I was so frustrated with beginner videos where they were like let's do a full roll up (are they kidding me) the purpose of a beginner is to learn to control the body movement I learnt this doing weights. You are a great instructor and this truly a beginners workout in Pilates. Hoping you'll keep this thread going.

This is excellent. Best beginner pilates videos I've seen yet. The detail you go into is so very important and neutral spine is more natural for me because I do yoga so I'm with you there. I always used to find going between yoga and pilates difficult when I'd need neutral spine for one and flat back for the other so this is great. Thanks for these!!

Golly, I have done Pilates, Yoga, and strength training, for many years and now at 55 your telling me about this neutral spine and not to push back to the floor? I thought at first I was misunderstanding what you were saying....but you really were telling me not to push my lower back down into the I had to really focus to not do that ! And then I kept wondering if you knew what you were doing because I didn't want to hurt my back. But after the workout I feel good and am eager to learn what your videos all entail. This type of Pilates is a breath of fresh air.
