LOW IMPACT WALKING WORKOUT | Walk at home | No talking, just walking | Day 5

Today's workout is our 40 minute long walking workout, day 5. We'll be doing different exercises, all low impact with no jumping for a total of 40 minutes. This is a walk at home exercise program which requires no equipment at all.

This workout is part of a 7 day interval training program and is suitable for anyone who can currently walk for 30 minutes 4-6 times a week. If you are at that fitness level then you can start this program (suitable exercise for seniors, beginners, and people of all ages). Interval training is geared for burning calories and fat, building muscle, and getting past that plateau effect that so many people hit. The breakdown of each day:
Day 4: Rest day or a gentle walk (there is no video)

Ideally, you'll continue this workout for 4 weeks. When I did this workout 20 some odd years ago, I shed weight really quickly. I had about 20 pounds to lose and I lost it. Interval training is super effective if done properly. As with anything, your body will start to get used to the workout so I'll create a new program for weeks 5-8. It'll just be a bit more challenging which is what your body will need at that point. Please email me if you have any questions about the workouts. Always listen to your body and take an extra day off at any point if you really feel you need it. The last thing you want is injuries so definitely listen to your body and go at the pace that suits your body and your fitness level.

I truly enjoy your workouts - I don’t need the talking. I much prefer listening to music while I walk. Plus, your exercises include arm work and more interesting moves. Where I live, it gets hot in the summer, cold and wet in the winter, so it makes it difficult to walk everyday. Since I’m 73, it’s important that I get daily exercise. Your workouts are perfect for me and I look forward to them every day. You offer different videos with a variety of music, so I do them all.

I started exercising with you on 8th January this year, 6 days after my 73rd birthday, doing a 10 minute session. After 2 minutes I thought I was going to die (slight exaggeration 😆) and I never thought I would manage today’s 40 minutes - but I did, with ease. Yes, I know it’s not the hardest exercise session, but I was really pleased. Thank you so much for getting my stamina up again. I exercise with you every day and I love it. Thank you ❤️❤️

Just wanted to let you know, I've been working out to your videos for 2 months now. I'm 29, and 240lbs. I was recently brought aware that my A1c is 5.6, I'm so close to being pre-diabetic. I'm beginning my journey to a better life. Thank you for sharing your videos and helping all of us be active. I'm taking baby steps but I'm gunna keep going till I'm healthy again.

I just want to say how thankful I am to have found your exercise videos. I have had issues with my piriformis muscle for years and after doing some of the other people's videos I was just so sore for a couples afterward. Your videos have been a godsend and that muscle hardly even bothers me. It would seem that your style of exercising has actually strengthened this muscle and made it more tolerant to exercise. I have told a number of friends how much I enjoy your videos and I hope that they will take advantage of them. Thank you so much.

First of all THANK-YOU! It is evident that you have put a great deal of work into these workouts. I have many health issues and my doctor is thrilled that I am doing this. This is my first time through the second set and I can proudly say I have stuck it out every day even when I couldn't stand the thought of exercise. Your routines are enjoyable, challenging, and doable. Weight loss has been seemingly out of reach for a very long time so I choose to focus on health improvements. This one is an oldie, Jules and I loved it! It was vigorous and pretty long but I did it and amglad I did! Now I have to cool off a little and hydrate before starting strength. Thank you!!!
