Its amazing how much your body changes as we age. Losing weight feels like it gets harder as we get older. The biggest thing that helped was getting more sleep. I really noticed a huge difference after I started to get 8 hours

Super good info! I find that 1 hr of walking in the evening totally does the trick for me, believe it or not! Lower intensity work outs have been really helpful.

I fear I've learned there may not be much I can do. I weigh less than I did in high school, a little over 50 years ago, but I carried the weight then better. I have MS and drop foot so, activity is difficult. I've been losing weight, but the old belly is going away much, and I can't lose too much more. I'll try losing a little more weight and somehow be a little more active. Thanks for the informative video. I'll look at some more you have.

Tips:
Women struggle more than men in losing fat.
Reduce your calories intake.
Quality over quantity.
Reduce processed foods.
Use app to monitor your calories.
Get enough sleep: 7 to 9 hrs to optimise hormons.
Reduce alcohol intake!!!
Exercise with weights!
Take fish oils, omega3.
Drink Water, water, water!!!! Or tea / plain coffee.
Increase activity level. Walking, cycling...

I love walking, hiking, climbing, and roller skating! I’m about to turn 51 and I am about 20 pounds “overweight “. I am really active as an archaeologist and I have used apps such as Fitness Pal periodically. This summer the app and my Apple Watch were telling me I was burning about 1700 active calories a day (digging 10 hours a day in the hot sun), and to eat about 3500 calories! but even with snacks and such I was only able to eat between 2000-2500 calories. I am a vegan. It took about 4 months to lose any weight and then I lost 4 lbs during the last month of that job. Now that I am at a MUCH less active job I have already gained back 2lbs. Help! I already follow all of your tips except for weight training. What else can I do?
