A well-balanced session once again.
I liked your comment about not comparing yourself to others during class - it is exactly what I learned this time. While last year I compared my poses to others, I focus in just myself this Year...If I need a prop, fine! If I cannot bend like you or others, fine! It is not a competition!
Thanks, Tim - and loved to see Ollie again 🫶🏻🙏🏻

I feel like this was one of the most important practices yet. Trying to teach us to step outside of our thoughts which thank you Tim, sometimes can be negative and admit that. It’s crucial to own it. Looking forward to tomorrow!

I have been doing your yoga challenge since 2021 and I can say this is the best challenge yet for I really need the flexibility work as I do a lot of cardio and weights so for me this is just the recipe for a good stretch. I now have my husband doing it every day with me and he feels that his day is much more positive as a result of your classes.... we find it easier to block those negative thoughts, especially when we are trying to sleep.... thank you so so much for a wonderful challenge.... we don't want it to end... you are the best Ellen and Ken

This felt amazing- that quad/hip flexor stretch on the wall creates so much relief it’s amazing

I had just finished Day 15 when Day 16 was posted, so I went ahead and knocked this one out too and it was just what I needed. Those hip openers always feel so great as a counter-balance to all the sitting I do in my job. I was even kind of diggin the "toe torture."

Hey Tim, right there with you with the need to not identify with thoughts, especially negative ones…. Thank you for the clarity prior to movement, it is very valuable to let go of thoughts that don’t serve us. Workout was awesome, very much so in the moment and loving the movement/stretching. Thanks Tim!

I can never get over how different the two sides of my body are. My right quad felt like it was going to tear, my left, no problem.
I can't believe it's already day 16, time flies when you're having fun. Thanks Tim.

One of the things I’ve found most helpful with the challenge is letting it not be a 30 day challenge for myself- just jumping back in today after 2 days off. In the winter months (n. eastern US) I transition from a landscape designer to a woodwork and furniture maker, which is super hard on my wrists. Have, in the past, been one of those ‘power through your practice’ guys and even though it hasn’t been discussed in your instruction, I haven’t felt rushed through participating in the challenge to ‘keep up’ and have been taking days off to rest the body as needed. kudos Tim, great series. Already feeling the mobility difference ✌️

This one felt like a therapy, the backbends afterwards was amazing, thank you Tim!!

Thank you. This was amazing. I thought most tension was help in my hamstrings and outer hip then did this and realised a whole load of tension in the flexors and quads which after realising helped all the way round. Will need to do this practice again.

I want to thank you for your honesty about how your thought can tend to negative. This has been an ongoing exercise for me for some time. As I write i am reminded that I have a choice at any time about how I think. I can imagine scary outcomes or I can imagine pleasurable outcomes. I dont want to be in fear about the present or future. It has been an unlearning and relearning.

Wow favourite session so far! Feel myself becoming more flexible as the challenge goes on. Roll on my Feb 2025 YTT🎉

Wow! That lunge with the knee against the wall was the best stretch I've ever been able to get for my unreasonably tight quads, which in turn made that pigeon gooood. That stretch will definitely be part of my daily routine moving forward. Thank you, Tim!!!

Thanks Tim 😊

Just to let you know that at the end as soon as a lay down an ad starts playing as it’s the end of the vid! Not sure if there’s a way around this, adding a minute to the end of your vid or whatever.

I was also wondering if you could do a series of short videos covering the foundational poses and how to do them properly? Downward dog for example, it took me being at a live class to have it pointed out what I was doing wrong. I wonder if a detailed walkthrough focusing pose by pose could be good?

Much love for the vids, they’re super helpful and I’m really getting a lot from the challenge 🙏

Thanks, Tim! Nice practice. Lots of toe torture, bending forward and balancing on tops of feet. Yikes. I haven't done pigeon in a while so that was very nice. Also, my quadriceps are very open these days with all the stretches we've been doing. I'm a day behind. Hopefully, I will catch up tomorrow. Namaste.

Just beyond halfway through this series! Haven’t done this as a daily practice for a while, hips are talking this week. This practice really helped them quiet down. Remembering to keep pelvis aligned with ribs when you’re not reminding me will be the challenge ( my pelvis wants to lag behind like a rusty hinge anytime there is a hint of arch in the air). All really so helpful. Thank you.

Well rounded, strong yet mindful. Just what I wanted/needed today.
The quad stretch at the wall is a fave that I somehow keep forgetting that it exists lol.. thanks for that reminder and a great class!
