Strengthen your core with this 30 minute vinyasa yoga class!

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me on the mat today. Many years ago I released a 30 minute yoga class that I called "spicy core" and as the title said, it was all about strengthening your power center! I thought it was time to give you an updated version of this class, so here we are!

Join me for a 30 minute intermediate level practice where we will work on strengthening our abdominals, obliques, hip flexors and back muscles. This is a fun and powerful practice that will take you through reclined, seated and standing poses to work your core in unique ways. I recommend having two blocks but if you don't have any, don't worry about it!

I'm writing this as a reminder that I have already done this more than 6 times and that I have recorded myself doing it too. I also want to say that this time I did the tree pose side plank successfully, almost without struggling 🎉🎉

I like the sequence, but it contains lots of wrists work so next time it will be so nice if you add wrists warm-up at the beginning. Thank you so much for your beautiful energy 💕

I LOVE your core strength classes - as I love all your classes, really. For more than four years, I've been doing yoga on a daily basis with you, you helped me staying sane during the pandemic and helped me recovering gradually from long covid. Ms Kassandra, thank you! Your other yoga session videos helped us sail through the recent pandemic lockdowns. The shoulder and upper body workouts cured a persistent shoulder pain for which even the exercises prescribed by a sports injury specialist didn’t help. 😊

This is the second time I've done this routine. I'm getting a tad better and I feel stronger. I could do the sideplank crunches this but can't manage the tree pose sideplank. I'll keep at it. I always feel encouraged by your positive "can do but don't beat yourself up" attitude.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve practiced and I’m no where near this skilled but loved this session. There may have been a 1/4 of a millimeter of air between me and the floor on those lifts.

Thanks! I’ve done the first spicy core sequence many times and have always wondered if there’s an update. I like both. This updated one is less cardio but more on strength. It’s very targeted at the core. Thanks again
