I remember earlier this year I found this channel going through an on/off unhealthy toxic relationship. I found someone else since and what a difference. All things Stephanie listed I lacked in my previous relationship and have In my current one. Feels amazing actually.

I agree. I'm always preaching on respect, and that's why I can't be with my ex because it's all about his wants his feelings his expectations. Not mutual respect.

That is such a great message. Being vulnerable is the most difficult thing after being in a narcissistic relationship.

You should make a video on how your PARENT should treat you. Too little focus on narcissistic parents and going no contact with them.

Character is so important. Ive been told by most of my friends and all of my family that I’m just a straight up good, caring guy. The frustration of being criticized for what I do my job during breakup… like that’s not my character, it seems so shallow

It’s funny. I went through my almost 14 year relationship pouring into a man that was starving me of all these things. Almost purposely. I had to fight for and remind him of the basics that make a relationship “healthy”. The bare minimum’s. I have since lost all respect for him. Trust. Etc. He has NPD and BPD officially as of March. Im hoping one day I can get my life back after so many years. For my sons sake above all else.

Thank you for your content. I have listened to you for many years now. And because of your videos I have been able to come out on the other side from narcissistic abuse. And I have been able to help many people. So please keep doing what you're doing! And I send a lot of people your way to subscribe to your channel!

I just started healing from trauma, and now all my relationships are shifting. Sometimes I feel I need to move to another place and just continue healing on my own.

Very well said and can resonate with them all. My last relationship was great for the first 7 months, then he started raging at me over nothing and started to act controlling, telling me to stop smiling at people whilst on holiday and got verbally mad that I danced with some women. Then started the demeaning behaviour “ oh that’s just typical of you “, if I dropped some food down my top, for example. The final straw was telling me to “ man up and drive my car home “ the day after I had a leg op.

I struggle with the fact that communication is never straightforward but hidden signs and comments using tones that do not match words which to me seems abusive or manipulations

Yip, pretty much all of those missing from my last relationship. Live and learn I guess.

Sounds like you are healing. For me certain changes I would make in myself like being more positive lead to more doors opening in my life. Friend or romantic partner caring about them and not expecting anything in return is something I've also learned. Sounds like that would be the ideal relationship.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

01:10 🚀 *Respect is the foundation of healthy relationships. Signs of lacking respect include interruption, disregard for opinions, absence of boundaries, unkindness, and lack of appreciation.*
03:04 🗣️ *Communication is vital, involving both healthy talking and listening. Healthy communication requires expressing feelings without manipulation, projection, or aggression, and practicing empathy when listening.*
06:18 🤝 *Trust is built through mutual respect and actions aligning with words. It extends beyond fidelity, encompassing emotional safety in a relationship.*
08:37 ❤️ *Emotional support is crucial for overcoming life's challenges. Good relationships provide comfort, empathy, and a non-judgmental environment, fostering a deeper emotional connection.*
10:10 🤝 *Shared values and beliefs are essential for successful relationships, offering a common ground for building a life together. Regular discussions about roles, goals, and adjustments are key to maintaining a strong connection.*

Can you make more videos about healing and moving on from betrayal from a narcissist please. My wife of 10 years left me for another man and has weaponized the kids and using them to hurt me. I’m having a very hard time coping and healing from the betrayal. I want to heal but it’s so hard
