Diet soda; cereal, contains more sugar; whole wheat bread, can lead to inflammation. Use sprouted grain bread; microwave popcorn, use stove stop; can tuna in water.

This was very informative. Most of it I had learned over the years, especially, after having cancer a few years ago. I would add this to the list for overall health. Stop using the mircowave. Use your oven or buy a nice small appliance that heats up leftovers, bakes, broils, roast, air fries etc. The change can be done for the health of you and your family.

Perhaps I am not so daft after all! I haven't had any sort of "soda" for years and have not had cereals for a long time. It probably helps that I am a Brit 60+, as my generation weren't so hooked on fizzy drinks as subsequent ones. Sugar is a real problem as it is a drug, but some sugar is part of most diets. If only it were as possible to recognize it as dangerous and simply exclude it from our diets.

As for popcorn just take regular popcorn and put it in a paper lunch bag and microwave it. No chemicals to worry about

Canned tuna and much of my other canned goods are over 10 years old. I know modern canned foods using new modern linings don't keep the food nearly as well as formerly. The new canning process showed health problems very early with pets. The new canning process is supposed to be more eco-friendly.

I have managed to avoid all breads for a long time now. I'm 63 and still don't need meds or glasses. I guess I'm doing something right

What the heck? She doesn't even include all those "food" items with long lists of toxic ingredients that are sold in grocery store all over the US. I'm 76, haven't been sick since 1998 thanks to avoiding 90% of what is sold as food.

I just found out that you can make your own healthy popcorn! Put some unpopped popcorn in a microwave safe bowl. Cover with a plate and microwave it until the popping slows down. Add a little popcorn salt and enjoy 🍿

How cool, not drinking soda since 23 years and no cerials in 15 years including white bread well somtimes in burger. Always tuna with water, those oils cause inflamation. Spot on!
My kids barle touch sodas.

I'm glad that you didn't say cheeseburgers and burritos were affecting your memory. I don't eat or drink any of the ones you mentioned. It's usually the
foods that I like that screw you up.

well avoid all processed foods and GMO, eat organic greens and organic meat fish eggs you will do well and you will get healthy in a few month, I was pretty sick, took me 4 months.

Seriously, why 55 on up !
When you are young you are developing your mind ! These foods surely would be harmful to them as well !
Diabetes, I am sure, has a direct link to many in life due to so much sugar in foods at an early age
I will give you a thumbs up because it is better late than never ! 👍
