This is spot on; I was born with a liver adenoma in 1954, it was not found until 1983. I also have Crohn’s disease(small intestine, )I keep it under control by using the Mediterranean way of eating. Amazing what food can do either way!

Thank you... For some reason I did not fully realize until now that any packaged sweet (including chocolate, everyone's favourite, of course:))) is a UPF, same with white bread and baked things from the store, chicken nuggets, french fries.... Moral of the story is that I am not entering a supermarket ever again, only farmers' market, for real food🙂

Vegetables, brown rice hurt my stomach. Can't even eat salad. Carrot well cooked, pumpkin and beets are the only veges I can take. Onion has it's days. So I stick to what my body allows.

Thank you for showing the video I have IBS which can be very painful for me I stay away from the things that affect me I don't take tablets for it I control my diet I don't use sunflower or repressed oil or mayonnaise 😮I don't eat crisp or fish and chips pizza or some chocolate have it and I make my own dressing it's in everything 😢I drink hot lemon juice first in the morning to clean though my bowels don't have a lot of sugar to replace the craving I use cinnamon it help and if I do have a bad day I drink peppermint and green tea it's flushing though and settle down but so much rubbish put in the food now 😮I have so many problems waiter and waitress when I go to eat it's depressing they think you are being fussy 😔 but you just learn to live with it .

Good video. You are one of the few who are really science based by saying that natural sugars are not linked to inflammation, because many videos get people confused by saying that all sugars are bad, even fruit, which is really stupid, actually. But you make the common error of saying refined grains are bad for you. That is simply not true. Millions of people have been eating white rice for centuries and they are very healthy.

There is no real evidence vegetable oils are bad for you. It all depends on the quality.

It makes me wanna cry cause I’ve extremely sick all the time with severe diverticulitis and can’t hardly eat anything without being in extreme pain. I feel so overwhelmed trying to get through life.

My gut problem started when I quit the wrong medication (for seizures) cold turkey due to suicidal ideations!
Gained fifty pounds in six months, diagnosed with beginning scoliosis, worked extremely hard, lost thirty pounds, got a walker to carry purse, water bottle and reversed beginning scoliosis… but I still carry the extra weight! I’m on a brutal anti inflammatory gluten-free diet, it’s been hard these past five years but I totally healed both polycystic kidneys, fibrocystic breasts, NAFLD with the right foods and supplements except IBS and SIBO. Sugar was the hardest to ditch.

I do have scarring in the lower part of my intestines from extreme adhesions and lack of quick intervention. I had emergency robotic surgery last year.
