The best yoga poses to do in the evening for a great night's sleep!

Hey yogis, here are my top 3 favorite yoga poses to help you unwind from a long day and fall asleep fast. You can do this as a simple 5 minute yoga sequence every night in bed, no props are required. The last pose is legs up the wall so make sure you're close to a wall so your feet can be supported.

First time doing yoga. My chronic pain was and is so incredibly severe and horrible tonight. The first stretch was actually super painful for me. I was wondering if you had any feedback or tips on common mistakes possibly made during this pose? The last stretch was very wonderful though!! Thank you for this quick video!!! I really want to do a non-tension forward fold, but aside from having a bend in the knees, what about for us who are too tight or not flexible enough to do a sitting forward fold in a relaxing way? (i.e., without trying, when we fold over, it takes a little effort ) thank u!♡

Thanks for this Kassandra! I am thinking I will try these poses right in bed, before going to sleep tonight. I want to see if it makes a difference in how deeply I sleep. I usually don't have much trouble initially falling asleep, but I often have nights where I keep waking up throughout the night. This results in not feeling very rested the next day.
I think for legs up the wall pose I will just turn my body around as I'm lying in bed, and face the headboard, and then after I can just turn back around and snuggle down to sleep!

Love legs up the wall. Having to be careful with forward folds due to a right hamstring injury. Making sure leg super bent. Namaste xo
