I eat beans, nuts, fruits, greens, and non-starchy vegetables every day, but I’m also obsessed with sweet potatoes, squash, and kabocha!! Also, I had no idea that sea vegetables can help beans improve their digestibility. I’ll have to experiment with that!

True about the nuts. I eat a tone every day and I'm not even close to being fat, I'm actually a bit underweight. Whole fats don't make you fat 😊

Im going vegan for 2 weeks starting tomorrow in hopes that it will help me eliminate some bad eating habits. your channel is great and you have such a welcoming vibe. wish me luck

Greens: in rice bowls for lunch, and in stir fry for dinner
Fruit: in oatmeal, as a snack, and as a candy alternative (dried pineapple is the best!)
Whole Grains: oatmeal for breakfast and brown rice with lunch
Legumes: beans and tofu in rice bowls and tofu with stir frys
Nuts and Seeds: peanut butter and flaxseed in oatmeal (and almond milk!), cashews or pumpkin seeds for snacks

I love beans! Beans for breakfast is my favourite. Just black beans, a few slices of avocado, some fresh tomato, parsley, a bit of brown rice, squeeze lemon. MMMmm

This was helpful. I’m struggling with processed sugar. So I went to the store and bought a bunch of frozen fruit as well as a few fresh fruits like apples, oranges and grapes.

Greens: broccoli in almost everything.
Fruit: strawberry shortcake or fresh strawberry pie.
Legumes: tofu, daal, tostadas, or pinto/kidney bean chili (the real stuff).
Nuts: pecans and peanuts (technically a legume, but used as a nut) in and on everything.
Whole grains: wheat bread or oat meal. I love whole grain bread.😍

To avoid gas from beans, I usually put some baking soda in the water when soaking them. For a pound of beans I put one tablespoon of the soda. I know this can be a problem for many people, so they do not like to eat them. Rinse well. This works excellent for me. I just love your videos. Always get some great ideas. Keep up the great work. Helping many people to keep or get healthy. All the best.

Love your videos! I have your book too. You're such a great inspiration.
I have green smoothie in the morning oatmeal mid morning with blueberries. I love pineapple and grapes for snacks. Falafel Salad for lunch. Veggie stir fry for dinner. I also like making salads in a jar with some type of bean, whole grain greens cucumbers carrots peppers and avocado. I make my dressing with acv, brown mustard, braggs aminos garlic and seasame oil. Thank for being a great motivator!

Nuts are great to roast yourself and adding salt and pepper on them yourself so that way you can control your salt intake (using Celtic sea salt, Himalayan pink salt.) also chia seeds are great to put with almond milk and fruit, seasoning like cinnamon and vanilla extract/powder for a breakfast. I want to mention almond milk contains more calcium than regular dairy milk. Chick peas/garbanzo beans are really good roasted (my favorite bean) and topped on a salad or Buddha bowl. I’ve eaten chick peas in chili which tastes so good. My favorite vegetable is broccoli. I love eating it steamed with salt on it or in a vegan broccoli cheddar soup (the broccoli cheddar soup recipe is by hot for food) I also love arugala for salads and I personally love pecans on an arugula salad. I could go on and on but I won’t. There’s a lot you can do to make good healthy food delicious!!
