Give this shoulder workout a try, all you need is dumbbells! Tempo Toughness is a new workout series that is going to optimize your mind muscle connection to maximize muscle gain! This is the dumbbell only version and a workout for shoulders. There are 5 exercises in the routine. Each exercise is performed for 6 reps with a tempo sequence of 3-3-3. Take as little rest as possible between exercises until you are done with 1 full round. You can do this workout as a shoulder finisher or 3-5 rounds for a full shoulders workout. I do the workout real time with you and count out the tempo so you can follow along too. Get them gains with this dumbbell shoulder workout!!

Boulder shoulders dumbbell style aww ! One thing I want to note about the Tempo Toughness series: This is a different style of training than my intense 5 minute and tabata workouts. If you can easily get through a round of the Tempo Toughness workouts, then that means you just need to increase the weight you are using. Weight amount is the main method of progression here and as you keep building along with increasing that mind muscle connection, the gains are going to be insane!!

I love this Tempo Toughness series. I feel like I am going to get a lot stronger doing these routines rather than the intense dumbbell workouts. Could I do 3 rounds of a Tempo Toughness workout then burnout with an intense dumbbell workout for a finisher?
