15 Min ARMS AND SHOULDERS Workout with DUMBBELLS

This 15 minute upper body workout is focusing on the shoulders and arms! A perfect workout to improve strength, increase strength and add definition to the shoulders and arms.

Of course with upper body exercises, you will be using your core throughout! Keep slight bend at knees and core tight! Try to relax and make sure you breath!

During the curls, keep elbows steady locked into sides of torso and try to not let arms fully lock out at bottom of movement.

During the dips on the chair, only lower so far is comfortable for you. Please don't put stress on shoulders!

Throughout, try your best to lower with control!

The exercises are performed for 40 seconds each, followed by 20 seconds rest inbetween.

We perform each of the following exercises twice, then onto the next. To finish, we then go into the dips for one set of 40 seconds!

SHOULDER PRESS
UPRIGHT ROW
LATERAL TO FRONTAL
SINGLE ARM REAR FLY
BICEP CURLS
ALTERNATING HAMMER CURLS
TRICEP DIAMOND PRESS

Please don't rush the reps...take your time and remember quality over quantity.
stop as and when you need to to ensure correct form and no straining in lower back or traps.

Spend at lease 5 minutes warming up prior to beginning this arm and shoulder workout.

I am 57 and thought I was in fairly decent shape...until my husband shared a pic of me from our home security camera and I saw my horrible bat wings! (Hubby didn’t send me the pic to be mean, he said I looked cute.). So I dusted off my weight set and found your channel. I’m seeing a huge difference in a month, and will have some real “guns” by the end of this year. Ladies over 55, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t build muscle! And I have an osteoporosis diagnosis, but no one is gonna stop me from getting strong 💪 I’m presently using 10 and 12 lb dumbbells for your arm and shoulder videos. 15lbs are in the corner of the basement waiting for me 😁. I have to admit that there are days that I can’t seem to find any motivation to just go down stairs to my basement and work out, but I have to force and telling myself that it only takes 15-20 minutes then you’ll feel better. This is probably THE MOST effective arms & shoulders workout for a beginner like me! I have been doing this workout religiously with 4.3kg ybell on each arm for one month: 5 days a week for two weeks, followed by alternate days for the next two weeks. I can see a visible change in my physique & I am feeling so much stronger!! I can’t thank you enough, Caroline!! Lots of love from down under! :)
