Had the same issue recently. A pain that started in the hip flexors and then travelled down the hamstrings and as far as my outer knees. As a result my hamstrings were really tight as well as painful. Been doing some gluteus medius reinforcement for the last 2 weeks as these are the hips stabilizing muscles. I roll a lot my hamstrings but don't stretch them anymore. And now i'm totally pain free !

Thanks for this! Will incorporate into my stretching routine. When the gyms closed I started running a lot more, I think the sudden increase in mileage paired with improper shoes has led to some hip and joint pain (also knees). Working on mobility and correcting some issues.

Wicked timing, increased the load lately and last night my chronic right hip called it a day with a slight pain. Today is off, and I saw the video, if it were an old one I'd say maybe the YouTube ai had recommended. But it's new waiting for me thanks guys

Well my hip flexors were weak as fuck! I just started getting into running at 35 years old, and this video made me realize just how asleep my hips have become after so many years of inactivity.

I have been dealing with side hip pain from running any exercises to help fix that? I feel like I have pretty decent glute and hamstring strength. My pain only started hurting at the end of my track season. Also great video I appreciate the tips!
