my father he is 74, he eats red meat and eggs every day he doesnt like sweeties and too much bread , his blood work is perfect

Most of what this says has proven to be false. LDL is not bad cholesterol. High triglycerides and glucose are the issue. Red meat and eggs are good. Sugar and processed foods are not.

Got any disease? Remove sugar from your diet completely and then gluten too.

And before anyone says “oh my body needs sugar”, please educate yourself about carbs, sugar and glucose.

And oh, never very worry about good fats, worry about sugar and processed food.

To me this message is very depressing. I am in my 70s, most people die around the age that I am currently cruising through.🙏
If I were to follow his advice to the letter, no sweet treats, etc. there is a good chance I would live longer, possibly ending up in an terrible nursing home, with a stranger helping me to the washroom as I aged. But I would die with a healthy cholesterol level.
Is there a reward for dying with a low cholesterol level?

I fast 14 or 16 hrs. I don't eat a lot and rarely eat those. I exercise an hour or 30 minutes twice or 3 times a day. I'm borderline high in my cholesterol levels my fasting glucose is perfectly normal quite low doc said. So I think because of stress and hormonal imbalance. Doc said just diet and lose more wait I'm 50 kg she still wants me to lose more at my late 30's. I don't know anymore what to do. There are many factors not just that.

Eggs are actually recommend nowadays and moderate meat intake is good with enough vegetables- sugar is the one to avoid and too many unhealthy grains to avoid insulin spikes…of course having too much meat can raise tea fats but it’s all about moderation. Think it’s important people balance their diets and don’t have fear foods that can actually be healthy in the right amounts 😊

Theres a difference between dietary cholesterol and the kind your body makes. I agree thay people shouldn't eat fried foods and ice cream but eat egg yokes is fine. Dietary cholesterol has basically no effect on your cholesterol numbers that show up during blood work.

Eggs are healthy. You need cholesterol. Grass fed beef, lamb, pork, etc are also good sources of cholesterol and not bad for you

How is white rice considered refined grains? you simply removed the peel.. like if you removed the peel of a banana or apple does that make them refined?

Everyone's bodies are different. You need to find what works for you. This video is a great start. I've had genetic high cholesterol and triglycerides since 10 yrs. old. At 16 they had me try a vegan diet. This also meant no junk/fried foods or sugar. I still ate bread and rice. After only a month of eating clean all my levels were normal. This is a hard diet if you're not in the right mind set to live it so I did not continue. Fast tract to 30yrs old and my last blood panel was 500+ Cholesterol and 900+ Triglycerides. Let's just say I have never been that high and will absolutely be following these rules!! And for anyone who says cholesterol is good for you even if your levels are high.... my grandpa and great grandpa both had heart attacks in their 40's due to high cholesterol. Just everyone is different. Just because a vegan diet worked for me doesn't mean it will for everyone. BUT if you have extreme high cholesterol I would absolutely start with these basics and go from there. High cholesterol for a long period of time in the end can hurt you. All those saying high cholesterol without high HDL/LDL ratio is good.... We have good cholesterol and bad cholesterol for a reason.... all I'm saying.... and that good cholesterol number is very important!

I eat 2 eggs daily and red meat twice or 3 times a week, my ldl raised like crazy was 7 . So now I change my diet and will make another test soon

Yep, I’ll try to just breathe and drink water.

We are all terminal. I get regular exercise and have dropped about 30 pounds.

When it’s my time to go I will be smiling at my last steak dinner.
