I use about 1-2 tsp of extra virgin olive oil. It seems to loosen up the stuck stuff and acts like a soft laxative. It also has health benefits. Give it 1-2 hrs.

I'm 67 and switched to Keto-vore 2 years ago. Beef, Butter, bacon, and eggs. Some sharp cheddar on occasion.
From my study it doesn't matter if you go Vegan, carnivore, omnivore, keto whatever.
Find what works for you, eat REAL food and stay away from ultra processed factory food which main ingredients
are sugar, seed oils, and processed flours. Exercise, a walk after meals will do. I've lost 30 lbs
and my back pain is gone I've had since I was in my mid 30's. My diet also controls my diabetes without medication
A1C 5.4.

As someone who has beaten RA, it is the Nightshade Vegetables which are the most inflammatory. Fasting is what healed me. Research Dry Fasting if you really want to get better.

I gave up gluten for months as I have rheumatoid arthritis. It made absolutely zero difference. My bloods were monitored by the hospital and gluten or gluten free, they remained the same.

The nine foods are: gluten, red meat and processed meat, added sugars, alcohol, highly processed foods, foods high in salt, certain vegetable oils such as corn and safflower oil, foods high in AGEs, dairy. Things to eat: EVOO, fish high in fatty acids such as salmon or sardines, steam foot rather than frying, and taking Vitamin D.

I watched this video many times already because I have osteoarthritis. It helps me to remember what foods to avoid. I noticed that my worse enemy is sugar and not animal fat. I could eat a huge steak and feel no negative after effect but sugar will give me knee and some finger pains. I miss drinking milk and eating my favorite Gouda cheese!

I first searched for gluten-free food in one big supermarket while living in UK, quite a number in one half-long shelf, but to my dismay they contained high sugar & high sodium which are equally harmful to osteoarthritis, but I love the abundant supply of different varieties of berries which are high in anti-oxidants that regulates blood pressure & cholesterol levels. I have been using light olive oil for cooking & extra-virgin olive oil for salads & occasional pasta/spaghetti. Living here down south of the Philippines since last quarter of 2019, the only food I found labeled with gluten-free & very recently, is the 2kgs-packed wholegrain, gluten-free brown rice. I am 73 yrs old now & still struggle to follow what to eat & not to eat despite watching/reading health vlogs, thus I have osteoarthritic pain, leg & feet cramps from high uric acid. Thankfully, I have maintained normal blood pressure & cholesterol level, no knee pain despite having xrayed osteophytes. I eat a lot of fruit & vegetables, but funny, found out there are some fruits & vegetables I have to avoid, nearly ''Just Stop eating all to be fine" Apart from osteoarthritis, leg & feet cramps, thanks to GOD, no other major health problems. I sleep well between 6-7 hours, must have a cup of either thyme or chamomile tea b4 bedtime

This is not supported by actual study cases. There are many other factors. This is absolutely right, when you consume all those things in excess. Gluten is an enzyme that we need, only people who have a bad reaction should avoid it. The golden rule is to eat LESS, move more, and to leave certain foods as a treat. Judging by members of my own family, the only successful method to be healthy is to eat everything, but small portions and yes, less sugar. We need salt. This is the same BS repeated by everybody. Lean red meat is very GOOD for us.

I’m 60 a year old, who became vegetarian at 30 and Vegan at 47. I don’t eat junk foods, process food or takeout. Mostly beans, oatmeal and vegetables. In my life maybe five glass of wine, none smoker; having daily’s walking or biking. I have arthritis and osteoporosis . I don’t say eating habit is not important but it’s not the only reason for staying healthy. There’s more factors rather than diet.
