I've had a very long list of medical issues for past several decades- Fibromyalgia, Chronic Inflammation, Chronic Migraines, Osteoarthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Celiac, IBD-C, Lymphocytic Colitis, Diverticulitis, Intestinal Metaplasia, Beta Thalassemia Minor and many more. Recently diagnosed with Paddocks Fibrosis F3 and NASH S3 Liver Disease, Sludge in Gallbladder and toxic iron overload.
Almost 2 months ago I had to drastically change my diet. I'm now on an Anti Inflammatory diet, no red meats. I eat only organic foods and use either EVOO, Coconut Oil or Avocado Oil.
I do not got out to restaurants anymore. If I buy something out of the middle aisles, I read everything on the ingredients list. I'm eating healthier and have lost 30 pounds so far this year.

Bulgur, pearl barley and wheatberry - are they considered grains? Been eating more meat and salads lately and my latest blood test came back all normal for my uric acid, sugar, cholesterol but kidney function went down a little bit pe my doctor. Been on indomethicin more on than off since August last year due to gout attacks even though i've avoided teas/iced coffees/alcohol and certain veggies. Used to be rice is life so once in awhile, i do crave rice -depends on the main dish i'm eating- but i eat maybe 5 spoonfuls unlike before where i used to eat maybe 5 or more cups per meal. Thinking of substituting bulgur, pearl barley or wheatberry instead of white rice.

Hi Doctor. Do you have any information on your YouTube page or website (or anywhere else….books?) regarding people who have had a stroke being on or getting off their statin mediation? My partner’s doctor told us that it wasn’t advisable for someone who’s had a stroke to ever get off their cholesterol med. Can you point me to a resource that could be encouraging for stroke survivors to get off the statin they are taking? I’m concerned about the side effects of the med. Thanks. Jana
