I think I just had a panic attack. I don't think I've ever had them before, and my mind was all shuffled. I remembered Headspace from those calm ads on my phone, and typed in the search and found this. Thank you so much for existing.

I’ve been feeling stressed for 1/2 years and then my therapist recommended headspace so I did the basics but sadly I can’t afford to pay. So I’m searching them on YouTube and it’s really helping. Thank you!

Andy's voice is so calming, I'm having surgery in a few hours, and I'm a complete wreck.
This helps. I'm still terrified, but this certainly helps.

I feel oddly better? I need stress relief from my parents's nasty divorce drama, and this made me feel more serene than I've been in a couple days, even with my depression and anxiety medication.

They have pulled me back from the brink of total panic attack and utter heartache and despair. They are so grounding and centering. 1000 thanks

This guy is the only person to help I dunno if it's his voice or directions but he's my favorite on headspace and best meditation guide iv tried others.

I just love this for several reasons: no spooky music. He doesn't tell you to focus on each part of the body, or count the breaths, which can be so distracting because you're always at a different pace than the narrator; and his voice isn't fakey and woo-woo - just simple speech.

I have been sending a lot of people to watch these instructional videos. These are people with Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain issues. It has helped a lot of us learn to quiet our pain and focus, if only for a little bit, on something other than what hurts at the moment. It has been extremely helpful when "pain-somnia" takes hold. Helps to bring the brain back from being so overly stimulated that there is no way on earth one is going to sleep. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone that has pain issues. It may not relieve everyone's pain, but it helps to bring things into a new perspective!

Wow It’s amazing how we can heal ourselves mentally.
When I was younger I thought mental health was a trivial thing, something that anyone can just shrug off. I thought I would never get mentally unwell.

However now (I have a job, moving out, started uni) I realized that I can’t do any work nor make progress in my current life because of anxiety, nostalgic depression, phobias, general pressure, severe procrastination, etc.
So now I’m trying to be a bit more gentle with myself. Be gentle with yourself. Don’t force yourself to think positively, it must come with ease. I made a bad choice to repeatedly force myself to be happy and optimistic. It doesn’t work and will pull you down. And make sure to do something you love every day, it makes things a bit more bearable

I’m now trying meditation because I find that I can get drained really quickly (the pondering about daily events and my nostalgic sadness kills me)
