1:15 The squat. Try to do a variation that YOU can do (according to ability and equipment)

1:40 Dead lift. If you can't do a regular, do a variation that suits you.

2:15 Bench press. Use it with dumbbells, or on an incline, not necessarily a barbell.

2:40 Pull-up. If you're not strong enough, do an assisted pull-up or a lat pull-down.

3:11 Face pull. Not in Greg's top 12, cause it just isn't ideal for hypertrophy.

3:44 External rotations for the rotator cuff. Again, not Greg's top 12.

4:25 The lunge. Yet another exercise that's not on the top 12.

4:50 The push-up. Another miss, do the bench press instead.

6:04 Overhead press. If it hurts to do it with a bar, use a dumbbell, seated or standing.

6:25 Skull-crusher. Do it. Alternatively tricep press downs.

7:15 Barbell curl. Do it! You're even allowed to cheat to add more weight.

8:05 Barbell row. Greg prefers the seated row, but either are good.

Greg recommends adding the donkey calf raise, side lateral, reverse pec deck, leg press, leg extensions, glute ham raise, and hamstring curls (depending on your needs).

I stopped doing intermittent fasting and started doing your diet ( 5 low calorie dense foods). I now fell amazing, and doing a lot better in the gym. I am getting leaner and leaner.

The first time I stepped into a gym, I had no idea what I was doing. I just did some lat pull-downs, seated rows, and chest presses before leaving. I remember my shoulders and back being sore for about 4 days. Anyways, thanks Greg for being my idol and motivation.
