I think they got big biceps, not because those are great exercises for biceps, but because they have done them for decades

If you just want big biceps, just do curls. They are low skill, more efficient and safer. If you want to learn those advanced moves, go ahead and do the straight arm exercises

Do one on shoulders, but start with easiest. I need to build my shoulders to be able to do more gymnastic exercises

While straight arm exercises are great for your biceps. The chin up is probably the best load on biceps.

Straight arm strength is literally the cheat code to calisthenics. Every movement you think of needs a degree of elbow strength and control. I’ve seen people unlock human flag and back levers first try without training the movement lol
