one more thing, keep yourself active outside the gym. it could be martial arts, track, basketball, any cardio is also important to have an aesthetic and functional core

Fun fact: planks helps you activate your core muscles and strengthen them but i dosent help them to be more defined visually (for ppl who wanna just show off abs)

with russian twists you want to have a slow motion not a fast one, and if your doing it holding a weight go as slow as you can and keep the plate/dumbbell as close to your chest as possible

People really be making these flamboyant workout ab routines.
It's a muscle just like any other so train it like that.
You only need 2-3 exercises MAX . What i personally do are leg raises and suitcase carries (compound lifts such as squats and deadlifts will also train your abs and core)

I rather lift heavy compound lifts standing up to workout abs works great and you can develop strong abs able to take punches and progressive overload the muscle

Btw the biggest excersise is recognising that abs are almost always toed to body fat %. If your bf% is too high, you straight up wont see the abs. Everyone has abs, they just need to be uncovered
