Best Way To Fix Your Wet Crawl Space!

The rainy season is upon us! We are getting bombarded right now with wet crawl space calls, and ''I got standing water in my crawl space'' calls, and in our most recent project video, I am going to take you all through the steps, on the best way to fix your wet crawl space!
This homeowner had already hired another business to fix his wet crawl space problems. Along with some foundation repair work, he had also hired the contractor to perform a french drain install inside his crawl space, as well a sump pump drainage basin, sump pump, and outside discharge line installation.
I was contacted by the homeowner on the third day of work, just after he had fired the original company he hired. Everything he was told and sold, as you too are about to see, was far from what was actually taking place!
Once we performed the full crawl space clean out, we then had to remove all of the falling, drenched crawlspace insulation. After all of that itchy mess was gone, we then had to remove all of the bs work, that the wannabe foundation repair company had done.
Once we were at a clean slate, aka starting point, we installed our full inside crawl space perimeter french drain system, our drainage fabric, almost 16,000 pounds of drainage gravel, two basins, two sump pumps, two discharge lines, and a brand new 6 mil crawl space ground vapor barrier. I also installed two moisture sensors to tell my buddy Jeff his humidity levels inside his crawl space. That way, he can see what they are now, as opposed to what they would be with our full crawl space encapsulation service, and our crawl space dehumidifier system.
Now that the water in crawl space is no longer a concern, we can begin directing our focus onto the floor repair work that needs performed, in order to strengthen, and support all of the existing floor joists within the crawl space!
