YouTube's crowning algorithm moment for me — I started a new chest routine and this is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks, Jeremy.

Been trying to grow my chest for 6 months now. Training 4 days a week; but seeing minimal progress, some, but not enough to convince me to carry on. Starting looking for other techniques and variations, just came across this mid workout, tried the very first one, putting the bench on an incline, literally already feel burning. Beautiful. Thank you!

Apparently, due to some problem, I wasn't able to do the dumbbell press, so I wanted to shift to something that would still work my upper chest. I did a little research on GPT based on my problems, really scooping out all the info, and I found some great tips for doing inclined dumbbell pullovers instead. I tweaked my technique a bit by setting the bench at a slight decline and keeping my hands close together and also near my head—this really helps me focus on my upper chest. I make sure not to stretch my arms out too wide move it far from my head; instead, I keep them in a controlled, straight motion, up and down, moving the weight in and out smoothly. The burn I feel in my upper chest is intense, and honestly, it feels even better than the dumbbell press!, like If the involvement of upper chest is 60 to 65% in doumbell press, this thing gives like 80% Just wanted to share what I've been doing in case... btw Pre-Fatigue the Lats a little to Minimize Their Assistance... 😁😁

To all the commenters: Upper - middle - lower are not used as anatomical designation but as relative positional designation of the overall pectoralis major muscle. Yes there are two heads that make up this muscle, but he is referring to the upper muscle fibers (clavicular head), middle muscle fibers (upper part of the sternocostal head - sternal fibers), and the lower muscle fibers (lower part of the sternocostal head - costal fibers). This distinction is important because of the orientation of these muscle fibers. That's why a slight incline greater recruits the clavicular fibers, neutral the sternal fibers, and slight decline the costal fibers

Can you do one where you show how to target the six parts of the bicep?

Go heavy on first 2. Then smash out the last one for reps

Plenty of debunks and studies show that there are only 2 parts of the chest. Hence also why when targeting the "lower chest" that many YouTubers talk about it also hits the middle chest. They're both working at the same time.

I really appreciate these suggestions! I also love the EMG result sharing. Fascinating and informative! Silly as it sounds I was wondering how I could do a dumbbell decline press with the flat bench. Thank you!
