STANDING ABS Workout // With Weights

This STANDING ABS workout is fire!! We are adding weights today so that we can really feel the burn in those abs. No laying down, and no mat or floor ab exercises today. We are doing this one standing up the entire time. The key to really targeting the abs is to use your breath and keep your abs engaged/contracted the entire time. With each exhale pull the belly button up and in towards the spine, keep the tailbone tucked and use each movement to fire up that core!! For an added challenge repeat the circuit twice!

Workout Breakdown: 9 different standing ab exercises 40s work + 10s rest
Equipment Needed: dumbbell (I used a 10lb weight)

This was great, and I loved the fact there was no warmup because it is easy to tack this onto another workout that you just did that didn't feature abs. Thank you Heather!

WOW!!! I did this one last night and all day I have felt it. While I was doing it I kept thinking, "am I really doing anything?" I used 10 pounds and I have felt sore all day, but a GREAT sore. I plan on doing this at least 1-2 times per week and do 2 rounds next time!! LOVE THIS ONE!!!!

I just started this standing ab workout last week and I absolutely love it! I love how the weights add great resistance during this workout. I'm always sore but it hurts so good :)

I took my dumbbell in the bathroom while my kids played in water and did the exercise💪🏽.am still doing the 12weeks program which is going really well .thank you heather for the program
