In my vegetarian house we have been doing this for the longest time( along with bell peppers) The Indian version of cottage cheese is called paneer. Dice it along with peppers and add to the pasta tastes pretty good.

Oh I can’t wait to try this! I’m a vegetarian and I’m always looking for fast, delicious ways to add more protein and calcium to my diet…and I’m a big fan of pasta. The sauce is a great change from regular pasta sauce.

I use protein/ chickpea Barilla pasta, but will be adding this to my sauce to meet my macros on a quick weeknight dinner!!! ❤

I can't get enough cottage cheese here lately, one of my favorite snacks in between meals, or lunch. I eat whatever fruit I have at the time, peaches, strawberries, grapes cut in half, just whatever I have, fills me up so good!

Honestly I was ready to hate on this- but i made an alternative that it is good (my fridge was barren and I had no choice)

Cottage cheese
Whatever random cheese slices in your fridge (i used asiago)
Garlic
Some milk or pasta water
Breadcrumbs (to thicken)
Spices (parpika & oregano)

Blend then thicken and I was expecting it to be trash but I enjoyed it 😂

Came here after to see if it was a "thing"

I love cottage cheese & beefing protein up in things, but it worries me a bit to see people adding it to everything since it is *loaded* with sodium (as are most pasta sauces). There’s more than 400mg in 1/2c! And most folks add the whole container to stuff. Anyway, you may already know & that’s fine with you, so you do you if that’s the case. Just passing the info along, as I had no idea bc it’s always labeled as such a health food. I was shocked when I found out.
