You said 520lbs and I was like world record? Then you said for 24 reps. Well shit

Been doing deadlifts first, then follow up with squats for 25 yrs and this has removed any knee pain caused by squats, give it a couple of weeks to start working

High reps low weight to increase work capacity, low reps high weight to test said capacity

But the standing band for core, is it bad for people with disc/favet issues?
Would Dr Mcgill approve of the standing band for trunk and core

Hey squat University idk if you'll see this but whenever I'm doing parallel bar dips to target the lower chest or even the tricep, as soon as i do my last rep and release myself i have this immense shooting pain at right side of my collarbone/clavicle. It's almost as if it gonna pop right there. I don't go too deep too can you please tell what might the issue be??

Squat University: don't warm up by bending your spine
Also squat University: do 4 sets of 25 ab crunch

Isn’t this over working your muscles ? they may fatigue for your big lift? Obviously you have to warm up. But there’s a difference between fatiguing your muscles and warming up. Wouldn’t activation exercises be best ?

And which would be a good warm up for bench press?

4 sets of 25 reps? For each exercise? That seems like a whole workout itself rather than a "warm-up."

I think that you will only prevent injury this way by pre fatiging the muscles which will lead to you not being able to use heavy ass loads

World record???

That can't be right. I was doing 495#, high bar narrow stance, I didn't even know low bar, for 20 reps ATG when I was 19yo.

I wasn't powerlifting at that time. I didn't even know what that was, I just was trying to get as big and strong as possible.

**edit**
Unless it is a record because no one ever thought to get an official record before.

Just hit some sets with lower weight on the exercise you want to do. No need to be another 30 minutes at the gym for this warm-up.

I just walk on the treadmill for five minutes 😂

I was always taught save your energy for your main lift then do your accessory exercises after. This is kinda the opposite idea.
