Yup gonna use this. I got left hip / IT band issues so I need to start strengthening and warmup/stretch like this.

Here’s what my team does if anyone is wondering, however, we are slightly more experienced runners:
1400m easy jog
Dynamics: (all 30 yards-ish)
Side to side x2 (both ways)
High knees
Butt kickers
A-skips (kind of like high knees but a skip, but you’re not exactly jumping. Opposite hand opposite leg bringing the leg up pretty hard to about 90 degree angle and then down)
B-skips (like a-skips except lighter on raise, and when you get to 90 you wanna snap your leg out and down back to your position while also moving a bit obviously)
Toe taps (put your hands palm up above your feet at about your chest, relaxed, repeatedly move the outward part of your feet up and down, should feel a burn)
Calf raises
Zombies (Frankensteins)
Scoops (apple pickers) (to halfway) and kneehugs (other half)

Mile warm up, strides, dynamics, and static stretching is what I do before a race or what I did during track.

Ahhhh, mile warmup. Then dynamics with the team, then calf stretches. The. Get your partner for the run. Come back for 6x100m striders.
