CARDIO COMPLEXES to get you sweaty and heart pumping!

A full body cardio workout that is different to HIIT workouts…. HIIT workouts are short intervals of high intensity (and heart rate is more a spiking format) whereas this is longer duration of moderate intensity (heart rate evelated but more consistent) but that doesn’t mean any easier!

Each complex is 2 minutes duration with 20 seconds inbetween before the next complex!

All you will need for this sweaty session is your mat and lots of energy!

Remember to go at your own pace! Your pace to be able to sustain may be faster or slower than me so just make sure to have fun and enjoy feeling so alive!

I got scared when I first heard the we’re doing 2min complexes👀 but then I said to myself: it’s only 20 minutes. If I could do 50min workouts, I can do this. And so I did. Took it at my own pace but still pushed myself. Modified some moves and took my time to make it safe for my lower back. I’m so happy that I was pain free during this. Very grateful and proud!

I survived! And today for the first time since starting CG - my husband said "wow you are really looking good! Like used to be an athlete good!" (folks I have NEVER not once in my life 'used to be an athlete' or 'am an athlete' this is high praise and I'm running with it! 46 years old and CG strong!

Day5 Smashed! Really Sweaty! Had Fun w/ the challenge of aiming not to stop for each complex. Did my best...but still had to stop during the bicycles complex 😉. My fave was the Skaters & Lateral Lunges complex. Also did the 15min. Rock hard abs wo.

🥵🥵🥵! That was tough!! My heart took this as a HIIT!😆 I tried to keep the heart rate spikes at a minimum but the jumping didn't help matters😄. But I enjoyed the challenge!! Complexes always increase the intensity of any workout and leave me wanting/needing that rest break! My favorites today were the sprawls, skaters, lateral lunges and pushup to plank..had a lot of fun with those. Great finisher as always! Another great start to my Sunday!! Love getting to celebrate Christmas everyday with everyone with the advent calendar😁! See you all tomorrow for our next present 🎁!!😆 Thanks Caroline!

I'm a natural born runner, cardio is my thing and Caroline's workouts are WAY hard. Harder than running 5miles thats for sure!!

Yay let's go .. I bought new workout clothes so I am excited !! I'll do this and update .. before this I did 20 minute stretching

Is it just Me or this one was tougher than HIIT .. I always find Caroline's Cardio difficult.. I was planning to do this 2 times but man this is tough

Well this proved to me how far I fell. I used to be able to do P90X plyometrics advanced moves without blinking. This nearly killed me. Not to say it is not intense, it is. I am glad I am doing this 20 min workout series to get back into it. Thank you for this video, I needed it.

WoW not a HIIT but a super Calorie Burner for just 20 mins. Definitely feel the core engaged and the Shoulders are continuously targeted which is good. Really gets the heart rate well up my Average was 137 and my Peak was 159 and the Cal burn was 207. What a great opener for Sunday nice to have Cx back on a beautifil NI sunny Sunday morning. Have a great week everyone 😀
