This is probably the best glute open exercise. I always do as warm up. This legit allow me to activate both side of glute like crazy. No pressure at lowerback

A lot of these squat warm ups seem to include static stretches, how do you incorporate them without harming performance? I was always under the impression that dynamic stretching was the way to go prior to intense exercise? I see the benefit of static in mobilising the body (opening the hips etc.), but how do you incorporate it properly without harming performance (or worse)?

I'm unable to kneel and do the stretch on the right. I stand and use the stairs to get my knee almost 90 degrees. With this modification, does it make the exercise less effective?

I tried to do this but I feel a pinching sensation while doing it. It's the same pain I get when I squat. Are there other hip opener excersizes? 😢

I recently started to feel my hips but it comes and goes.

Even more recent just, in every day stuff, it feels like some bone slightly above my left glute has a stinging pain. Idk how else to describe it.

I sleep on a traditional cotton futon on top of a tatami mat, does that have something to do with it?

I also transitioned to barefoot shoes only, about 3 months ago. Maybe there's some adjusting still going on?

If I have an old hip joint roughness, it happened around 13 years ago. can i do this ? i have no pain, but some discomfort sometimes when it's cold weather.
