So glad this is available. LOVED Bikram yoga when I lived up in Oregon/Washington. Now I live in central Mexico, and at 74 years, I enjoy going through the exercises "as I am able". Just getting over a few minor surgeries and a recent dislocated lower back....so I'm doing what I can, as hard as I dare. Love it! Keeping flexible and holding my balance in these later years of life.

Thank you for putting a 60-minute Bikram series online! I haven't been to a studio in years, so this was a great way to check-in with my body without getting too wrapped up in the heat and delirium of a class. Also, if more instructors were like Maggie, I wouldn't hesitate to get back into the studio. She's clear, concise, and has control over the classroom without being too much of a drill sergeant. I've noticed over the years that studios are trying to present a gentler face, but it's at often the expense of the quiet and disciplined atmosphere.

I workout quite a bit with a focus on weights and intense cardio balance. 60 years old and never tried yoga until I found Maggie's class. She makes it approachable and humble with great teaching. I do the 90 or 60 minute yoga practice once a week, and love it. It is both athletically challenging in a very new way for me, and I feel relaxed and balanced when it is done. I really like this 60 minute class with Tim because I learn a lot and it is nice to have a virtual yoga buddy who is in the same place as me. Very strongly recommend! Maggie is a credit to the practice of yoga. Thanks for sharing Maggie. Dan

Amazing yoga session. Really enjoyed this abbreviated session.

For those of you who say you are disgusted by Bikrams behavior I want to point out that President Donald Trump has done similar things and worse. So if you’re disgusted by Bikrams behavior consider what you are endorsing and condoning if you’re considering voting for Trump. It would be on the same level of voting for and endorsing Bikram even knowing about the depravity of his conduct and simply over looking it. Choose wisely with your vote my friends.

Is anyone hear after the Bikram documentary? This is the first thing that comes up, despite all the pain, people still find healing and help from this hot yoga practice, I’m too afraid to try it in a studio now

I have taken many 60-minute versions of Bikram's sequence in studios but this class by Maggie was the best! Too many instructors try to cram all the postures twice with no breaks in between making it feel rushed and not as meditative. This class was perfect and maintained the integrity of the original 90-minute version. Thank you for not rushing the class and including Savasana between each posture! This will be my practice until Studios reopen. Namaste

I always come back to this. It's my favorite practice. I have a hearing disability. Knowing the poses will always be the same and in the same order helps me stay up with the routine.

These sequences were taught by Bikram, who learnt from his teacher. Just know that this isn't his sequence, but an ancient teaching. He just named it Bikram's when he brought this sequences to the West

This is great. Her instruction is well modulated and easy to follow.
It's not the full Bikram session but it's good for people like me who can't go to a class all the time and don't have the time to do a full 90 minute workout every damn day. I already work out a lot and this helps me in between weightlifting days to reset my structure and correct my imbalances. This is also a good way for people who are wondering what it is all about to get a taste without entering a "torture chamber."
Haters always be hating... but I am glad this is available.
Thank you Maggie.

3rd degree judo black belt here. Always wanted to do yoga to help my judo/BJJ practice. Never really took the plunge though. Not only is this helping with rehab, flexibility, and strength, but I think I've found a new passion, and something that helps me with managing my mental health.

Thanks!

P.S. My friend is in the running for Olympic and Commonwealth qualification for judo, and she could only complete half this session!

I wish these videos were for sale on the Heart Alchemy site. I'd love to play my own video file, instead of going through YouTube. Maggie is a great teacher and having this as a go-to on my computer would be great.
