I wish that people would stop destroying other people just because they were once destroyed.

There are so many narcissists who gravitate to empathetic and trusting people

One trait I have seen in many of the narcissists I have dealt with is the “Victim Complex”, they are always the victim! If you listen to them carefully you’ll see they are making it sound like everyone is always taking advantage of them because they are such a good and wonderful person!

Accountability, they never take responsibility for their actions. They'll always blame everyone else

1 They have a grandiose sense of self importance - Self obsessed - High opinions of themselves
2 they have a distorted world view - if they do something poorly, they make excuses.
3 They need praise and admiration- not interested in anything except if it has to do with themselves-
4 They have a strong sense of entitlement- they expect people around them to follow them
5 They have a superiority complex- they go with people who they think is their level, they judge people
6 They lack empathy and remorse- they never feel guilty - never think about what happens to other people with their actions
7 They bully, belittle, and mistreat others- they point your flaws when other people compliment you
edit: Based on what I’ve seen by my replies, I wish you all the best and that you aren’t alone!

I learned it's better being alone then having friends. The loneliest people walk the strongest paths.

I had a narcissistic friend for 16 years. Cutting them off was the best decision 😂

And saying "narcissism is more dangerous than you expect" is an understatement.. for your safety please stay away from those people if you can

People with narcissistic personality disorder have little or no emotional empathy. They can also be devaluing about other people. Eventually, your narcissistic friend is likely to say something that hurts your feelings, offends you, or embarrasses you in public.

I've just come out of a 16 year "friendship" based on mental abuse with a hard core narcissist. This video is so dead accurate to everything I experienced. I'm pretty tramatized from it but seeing stuff like this makes me feel better and know I'm not alone. I accepted the mental abuse for so long because she convinced me that no one else would want to be friends with me and that she was my only friend. as I got older and more mature I was less vulnerable to her manipulation tactics I started to make real friends and realize that I was being manipulated.

Oh oh oh you missed the part where they try to convince you you’re the toxic one and cannot be convinced of any wrong doing. My sister is a narcissist

Another sign is when someone compliments you in their presence they'd do anything to shift the spotlight to them.

They try to kill your self-esteem. I had a friend who is a sadist. Those ppl are truly dead inside and lack a center.

So I am an INFJ and I am a literal walking magnet for narcissistic people.I had this one friend who is always so needy, immature and gets very aggressive when challenged. One of my strong perks is that I am patient I was friends with that person for 7 years until I finally did the infamous door slam for the first time in my life.It didn't feel right because I always love to give people chances but I know this was the right decision to make.I guess it's always true when they say the good decisions are always the hardest to choose.

Narcissists will always have someone they accuse of ruining their lives. Narcissists do not love – they hold hostages. If you meet one, RUN 🖖
