I show EVERY SINGLE SIGN here. I'm alone in my room daily & even when my parents take me to family parties, I just let them party & sit alone playing, crying or just pretending to be happy around others but sad inside.

The depressed ones are the funniest
The insecure ones are the prettiest
The shy ones are the ones who want to talk the most
The anxious ones are the ones who'll always comfort you
The autistic ones are the coolest
The abused ones are the kindest
The traumatized ones are the ones who want to live in the present the most
The suicidal ones are the ones who want to live the most
But the ones who are living and keep living are the strongest

I didn’t realize how much toxic friendships could affect my well being until I watched this. I’ve had many toxic friends throughout my life so far and now that I know the symptoms of emotional trauma, I’ve realized that I fit the bill for a lot of them. I have been working on getting better mentally, and I’ve even decided to open my heart to someone. Thanks psych2go. Getting this info actually really helped me.

I feel so much comfort being depressed, being broken and being alone. Being loved, embraced and wanted feels so foreign and wrong, but when I express this openly, I’m ostracized.

i remember when i was going through some stuff, i used to eat strips of paper as a stress response and did so for a couple of years afterwards as a trauma response. the disorder is called Pica and i wanted to mention it here since young children (especially neurodivergent children like me) tend to develop it during moments of trauma or stress.

You have pretty much just described my life. I trust on one. I care little about friendships. I sometimes get livid over the smallest and silliest of things. I really like to be left alone. Flash backs are an every day occurrence. I am, however, learning to control my emotions by not caring.

I've been emotionally damaged since 2019 my daddy cheated on my mom and we found out in April of 2019 I was there when she found out . I lost a lot of people in my family and I even lost my pappy this past December because of covid 19 and it has been a rollercoaster since 2019 so I hope that anyone that is going through anything knows that they aren't alone . I'm praying for all of you .

Yes, in many ways from my father growing up and I’m still working on it to this day. It’s been difficult but I’ve gotten to the point where I’m more confident about who I am and that there is nothing wrong with me being me, sometimes I fall back into the dark void but and I pull myself out and every time it gets easier and easier. I did have to get a lot of support from family but mostly close friends. Don’t get sucked into void reach out to those you love and there will be happiness waiting for in the end. Your worthy of love and happiness!
