Even without this list, I know I’m anxious. There’s moments where my heart is racing even though nothing is happening.

Im for 7 for 7 on this. Two more things tho. That feeling right in the middle of your chest where it feels like your about to explode. You also feel it right in your nerves in your arms. Physical discomfort basically. That is also a big part of anxiety. Lastly your mind. Those thoughts telling you to not do something because your scared or just want to avoid conflict. Its almost as if someone is physically pulling you back. Im talking about what I personally experience with it. In short, Anxiety sucks.

I do a thing called escapism to just escape from my reality. I make shitty imaginary situations and im happy when im living in those moments, the moment i get bored from that, snap im back to reality…and i desperately wait for new moments to arrive, so that i can be happy, no matter if it’s reality or just an imagination

it's this feeling. this lightheaded feeling. the feeling of emptiness and disappointment. the feeling that frequently flickers through your ear, constantly reminding you that you are not good enough. that you never gonna be good enough. you can try and try but yet never good enough. you isolate yourself from the world in hopes of finding something better; a better life, a new identity. "close your eyes" you say to yourself softly while the warm tears flows down your cheek, but unfortunately thats not the case. you open your eyes and yet you are still living, still breathing, still you.

It’s sad because I’ve suffered with severe anxiety ever since a little kid. My symptoms didn’t start showing up until I was 7 years old. And ever since then I’ve struggled with extreme feelings of anxiousness. One thing I absolutely hate about anxiety is the physical affects. For example there was this one time I was starting to have a panic attack because I was afraid I wasn’t getting enough air or oxygen in my lungs, so I started hyperventilating. As I was hyperventilating I could feel the adrenaline rushing through my face and my hands and fingers started to tighten up to the point where I couldn’t even move them. I hated every minute of that experience. In conclusion anxiety sucks and I hate struggling with this mental illness.

Also if your wondering anxiety runs in my family so a lot my relatives struggle with a bit of it where as Me and my older brother got unlucky.

My mom was the one who recognized that I had anxiety. I told her that I had felt a pressure on my chest during the whole school day but it had gone away when I finally could sit down in the library and read a book, and also that I often feel like the school is actually driving me insane. If you feel like you’re dying when your body is fine or feel like you’re going insane, it’s likely anxiety.

The hair playing is a massive one for me, and I think I do it as a way to try and comfort myself when I am feeling anxious. My partner’s mum once pointed it out and disparagingly noted that it was a sign of flirtatious behaviour, but honestly I just do it to make myself feel better. My anxiety is really bad at the minute and I’m super forgetful and feel like the rug’s going to be pulled from underneath me at any minute. I hope no one else is feeling like this but if you are, know that you’re not alone. ❤️

When I'm anxious I:
● Do deep breathing exercises
● Do serious cardiovascular exercise
● Go for a gentle walk or cycle locally
● Take anxiolitic medication
● Get high
● Talk with someone
● Utilise relaxing supplements
● Change my environment
● Do CBT like asking myself why I'm anxious and if I should stop it
● Sometimes just put up with it because it's a normal part of life

I was actively anxious for many years, with impulsive thoughts rushing through my head and intense psychosomatics happening every day. Now I am free of these and did not think I have much anxiety left, but all of this info in the video still basically applies to me. It is all about the habits. On my path to learn the healthier ones ✨💪🏻

When I'm upset, anxious, worried, or scared, I sleep. I tend to take a lot of naps, I know this is unhealthy, but I've been doing it for so long it's the only thing that makes me feel better now.

Try these when you're feeling anxious or stressed:

- Take a time-out. Practice yoga, listen to music, meditate, get a massage, or learn relaxation techniques. Stepping back from the problem helps clear your head.
- Limit alcohol and caffeine, which can aggravate anxiety and trigger panic attacks.
- Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly.
- Get enough sleep. When stressed, your body needs additional sleep and rest.
- Eat well-balanced meals. Do not skip any meals. Do keep healthful, energy-boosting snacks on hand.

Wow. I've been watching a lot of these videos recently because I just can't figure out my life on my own. And after this video, I actually started crying because of how much I related to the signs. My girlfriend helps me a lot with my mental health, and I got nice memories about her from watching this. These videos are very helpful, and you should continue doing things like this.

My girlfriend just left me because of my anxiety disorder!

EDIT: Oh, never mind. She just went to grab a cup of coffee.
