Your cable overhead extension set-up looks like a scene from Rocky.

RIP JOHN MEADOWS. He inspired and taught me so much in life. I learnt so much from him and owe him most of my success in the gym. He will be missed.

I do the 2nd one in the wall(calisthenics way)...I reccomend this if you have no access to machines

At an angle as if youre doing a plank at the wall with your elbows(the closer to the ground you are the harder it is)

Keep the elbows aligned with the shoulders and your hands can be closer together(to get some pec activation), slowly extend your hands, pause then control on the way back to the wall

Those can be hard and youll get great results

Alex I have a very important question for you so please read.

Have you ever come across a scenario where someone training to get to 100+ non stop full rom push ups, in 2 minutes, has lost existing strength for the heavier 8-15 rep range and has decreased muscle mass? Despite adhering to the heavy workouts on a weekly basis and eating in a caloric surplus?

I bench 180 kilo for 2 good reps and 155kilo for 8-9 reps at 91 kilo bodyweight, but I can only do 35-40 non stop push ups. I wanna get to 100 plus doing stew smith's push up push program. However long it takes.

Could that result in decreased fast twitch muscle fibre or overall pressing musculature? And strength in the 8-12 rep range?

I am not talking about progressing at both, simply talking about maintaining my existing performance in the 8-10 rep range.

Btw since it will be a very relevant matter of discussion for this topic, I am not on any performance enhancing substances. So I come at it purely from a natty perspective. I am not in a position of reaping the anabolic benefits of steroids, so your answer will be based on that.
