I was on veg for 30 years, no fat etc. I believed the narrative. Fibre content 30gms plus. My bowels were destroyed. I now eat carnivore, grass fed beef only. I feel much better, my health has always been great, but my bones and muscles have suffered. Hopefully now I can repair the damage. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 73yrs

I have started buying whole sirloins with ALL the fat! It's not really that expensive since I only eat meat...No more cookies, bread, chips or cokes! I don't even miss the junk food! Thank you Dr. Berry!

When Europeans stumbled upon the Native Americans they were shocked at their health. Tall at 6ft on average(Europeans at time were 5ft8 on average)with no health issues, lean and with excellent teeth. Over the harsh winters they survived on pemmican which is extremely fatty. The pounded meat was mixed with melted fat in an approximate 1:1 ratio by weight.[15] Typically, the melted fat would be suet that has been rendered into tallow.[16] In some cases, dried fruits, such as blueberries, chokecherries, cranberries, or saskatoon berries, were pounded into powder and then added to the meat-fat mixture. The resulting mixture was then packed into rawhide bags for storage where it would cool, and then harden into pemmican.[10]

50 year old male.. I can state for a fact. When I eat more protein and fat often I became more muscler and leaner. I have tried every diet or eating style and i find eating primarily 90% meat 🍖 i feel BEST, All my inflation goes down my psoriasis disappears and most importantly I'm happy...my stress levels go down... it truly is incredible. I did it consistently for 60 day's with great results and when I decided to slip back to carbs....i would wake up with headaches and the pounds came back very quickly the psoriasis and inflammation all returned. I would say to just try it out and see if it works for you. It's not all that hard and well worth the benefits.

I went clean keto 18 months ago and then clean carnivore 12 months ago and I have had gout in my left or right ankles 5 times in 2023. I have it now. I can't walk.

It's oxalate dumping and it takes between a few months and 5 years to get rid of. Everyone I tell thinks it's caused by eating fatty red meat. Just letting you all know....

In the UK we can buy beef diced or minced with 20%, 15%, 10%, 5% and now 3% fat. The lower the fat the higher the cost. All this because we are told high fat diets will cause heart disease. It's a minefield of information.

Eating more fat along with adequate protein raises your metabolism. Raised metabolism uses more energy, thus more fat burning. Its all about finding the right amounts and the right schedule for what matches your body and what it wants. Once you truly give up all the junk and can mitigate that pesky carb-influenced hunger hormone, your body will tell you what it needs. It takes time. I'm 6 months into 99.99% carnivore and I've lost 100 pounds. NO extra exercise, really. I park far away at stores to make me walk further. I walk a mile around my neighborhood 4-5 days a week. I walk my dog 5-6 times a day on nice days instead of 2. Its little things. But they add up!

It's me. I'm the one in Wally Mart buying eggs and the 10lb tube of ground beef and 10lb bag of chicken quarters. I actually FEEL like exercising!

Having back issues I cannot exercise. I started keto back in July, down 45.5 lbs eating beef, spam, vienna sausages, butter, bacon and eggs with a few veggies thrown in here or there, mainly broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts.

The main issue with grain fed meat, is that ALL grain crops are sprayed with glyphosate 10 days before harvest. The glyphosate willl do immense harm to your micro biome. At the end of the day tho, everyone seems to have success on any meat 😊

Yes, understanding the Randle Cycle allowed me to put everything together. I don’t like listening to Bart Kay (he’s too mean and sarcastic for me), but his description of the Randle Cycle is the clearest, most understandable explanation I’ve ever read.

What I noticed on Keto/ Carnivore is that I have a ton of energy to get things started everyday. Of course I get tired at the end but I am so much more productive in everything. It drives my sons crazy.

Ive eaten more fat to help myself, but since I already have a lot of fat on my body the method doesnt work so good. When I eat more fat I'm having to burn that off first before I burn off any of the fat Im already carrying around! When I eat just the fat thats with the meat that I'm having then i lose a little weight. I'll stick with that until I've lost all my weight and then I'll start adding more fat.
