Hey ya'll! Today's video is a YIN YOGA practice centered around DEEP RELAXATION. The only thing you'll need for this video is a pillow if you tend to have tight hips. We are holding poses for 1-3 minutes, so be sure you are in a position that's giving you a stretch, but that is also comfortable. This practice is slow paced & most people should be able to do it without too many problems. We're only doing a few poses but the length of time we're holding them brings this practice to about 20+ minutes. At the end, I guide you into meditation & leave a few minutes of a black screen & music afterward. Let me know what you think of this video with a comment down below. I am currently working through some inner child wounds and despite me doing yoga regularly, I didn't realize how tight my hips were and how tense my body had gotten over the past few days. The deeper I got into the stretches, the more I felt nauseous but also released. This was heavenly and needed, I thank you. I am so calm and warm now. I don't even wanna talk. I wanna bathe in the peace lol

After working a graveyard shift, I was intimidated by the long child's pose at the beginning. Although when I came back to try after resting and enjoying the rest of my day I found it to be perfect for this moment! Progress is all about being patient with yourself and your process. Yoga doesn't have to be practiced twice a day or even every day for it to make a difference. I'm very grateful for my ability to learn and grow with my strengths and not focus on my weaknesses. There's a time and place for everything, the professor once told me

So I was on day 22 of the 30 day challenge, missed a day due to a health flareup, and then incorporated yin yoga every day after into my new morning routine. Turns out, I need deep relaxation in the morning. I miss doing the more active yoga though and my body is asking for it now after doing it so regularly. Not only has the 30 day challenge made yoga a priority for me, but now I am thinking how I can squeeze in practicing twice a day. :) Thank you Nico. This yin practice is so relaxing... I love that there's lots of time for Shavasana at the end. Sending love. 💜
