Join me in this extra long yin yoga practice for full body flexibility and deep relaxation.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for joining me in this extra long yin yoga class for deep flexibility, self-care and relaxation. This is a 90 minute full body stretch to provide you with some well deserved TLC. It's suitable for all levels and I recommend having a strap and either a bolster, a pillow or a block nearby.

We'll go through poses like butterfly, half butterfly, shoelace, supported fish, reclined hamstring stretch and half happy baby.

If you've been feeling depleted, stressed, burnt out or overwhelmed, this is a lovely practice to help you soothe your nervous system and get back to yourself.

What is Yin Yoga? Yin yoga is often called the Yoga of the joints because unlike other styles of yoga, the emphasis is not on the muscles but on the deep connective tissue. Connective tissue is made up of fascia, ligaments and tendons which surround and form your joints. Yin yoga improves the range of motion in your joints and also strengthens them. The results and benefits are more flexibility and greater range of motion and also more stability within your joints.

There are 3 principles of Yin Yoga.
1. Find your edge
2. Be still
3. Hold the pose

This was awesome. So looking forward to more of these 90 min sessions. For a min I said 90 mins I dont have time then went wait "you just took the afternoon off your job for self care" So grateful for this wonderful gift. I know I'll be sleeping like a baby. Thank you beautiful soul.

Thank you! I’m at my 6 week recovery point from full left knee replacement. I was so glad when my PT said “sure do yin yoga modify flexion as you need.” This session felt great. I wasn’t able to practice yoga or pilates or even go walking for 4 months prior to surgery. I want my life back, and it’s coming slowly.

I love long classes. When I was in Bali, we used to do 2-hour-long classes. It was a lot but really energizing and it made me so happy and peaceful.
