Hey queens, it's Susie here, your friendly neighbourhood lazy girl, and I'm diving headfirst into Andrew Huberman's science-based productivity routine. Ever wondered if the early bird really catches the worm? Or how to make sleep work its magic for you? I'm testing Huberman's tips on productivity, stress management, and even throwing in some cold exposure techniques for that extra energy boost. As a self-proclaimed lazy girl, I'm all about finding ways to make life easier. Does it all live up to the hype or is it just another trend? Join me for the ups and downs as I try it out, and together, we'll find out if it's worth a shot.

I’d be super curious to see if his way is for the optimal performance for males vs optimal performance for females because I know women generally need more sleep and are more efficient at different temperatures. Many more examples and studies! Love Huberman!

I cant help but notice that this routine is very centred around a male physiology. The training, the no breakfast, the short sleep. All things that are generally functional for males but troublesome for females.

I currently take morning walks, it is a task to get myself out of bed and ready but it gets me fresh and awake for the day in a way no amount of caffeïne or snoozing can.

Murray being in his work uniform when you guys went to watch the sunrise was so funny to me for some reason 😂

I will say as a fellow ADHD girly if I am hungry or tired it makes it a lot harder for me to focus. Watching the sunrise is always lovely but it's getting up and out to look at it that is torture and I can never remember how lovely it is when I am lying in my bed.

Suzie you are a rock star ⭐ if I had to get up at 5.30 and drink a glass of salty tears I would cry, vomit and go straight back to bed 😂

There's enough evidence on ADHDers needing food and caffeine at the beginning of the day for the brain and body to (somewhat) function. Intermittent fasting with no breakfast can also trigger a hormonal imbalance in women, especially women with ADHD, so your body knows that intuitively. ❤

I'm proud of you!! Ice baths are intense. Your energy is so positive and it makes your videos so entertaining. Also, I know that yoga helps with sleep. "In a study in which they practice yoga for 90 minutes twice a week for three months. By the end...they were free of virtually all headaches, back problems, and sleep disorders" (the big guide to yoga magazine). Yoga has helped me lose weight and makes sleep regular.

The phone screen background caught me so off guard I cackled. Your videos are one of the best ways to break up a stressful work week <3

Susie going to Starbucks after having an espresso was SUCH a mood😂

For the yoga nidra: for feeling more well rested you have to do a longer session around 30-45 min. Then it starts feeling like you had more sleep. I would like to see a challenge where you try to do different relaxation methods like pmr or autogenic training for 30 min a day. Much love from germany ❤❤

Not every routine is going to work for everyone, especially with PCOS and for issues that meds are needed for lol and are a take with food…. But this was cool to watch and obviously you can take away what you can or want to and implement them. 😊❤

So glad you talked about the medication at the end because the whole video I was like “Susie, when do you take your meds if you have breakfast that late???” I’m absolutely guilty of taking them on an empty stomach and also sometimes after 10am and it wreaks havoc on my appetite and sleep time.

Just wanted to say I love you. Your such a “normal” person and we need more people like you making videos

deep work is hard for me as well, which is why I use the pomodoro method. the smaller times makes me feel like I can manage it more, the breaks help remind me to stretch and get up and rest my eyes. really helps my executive dysfunction to say "well try for 25 mins"
