Here’s Jordan Peterson’s (intense) daily routine to become more productive, more intelligent, beat anxiety, and lose weight. You’ll also find the best of Jordan's advice sprinkled throughout the video via clips of him speaking.

I’ll walk through EVERY part of Jordan Peterson’s daily routine and show you which were most helpful to me and why. I’ll also give a completely honest breakdown of how it went and what lessons I learned from the week.

Jordan B. Peterson is a well-known podcaster, author, and professor. he’s appeared on podcasts like the Joe Rogan Experience, The Tim Ferris Show, Chris Williamson (Modern Wisdom), Theo Von, and many, many more. He also has his own podcast, the Jordan B. Peterson Show.

He’s helped many people, especially young men, find meaning, motivation, and purpose in their lives through struggle and hard work. He regularly speaks on the value of cleaning your room, making a schedule, becoming tougher, learning from the bible, and standing up for yourself.

I am certain when Peterson says work 14h/d, this does not mean “at a computer”. Peterson’s work includes thinking, talking, preparing, connecting, and I’m sure your work can also be more varied than just at the machine.

"Clean your room" sounds so banal, but it's actually incredibly powerful and transformative once you embrace the whole mindset behind that statement.
I struggled a lot with life's bigger problems, until I realized that it was actually my neglect of small everyday things that was holding me back. Making my bed every morning and seeing to it that my house is in order (in a literal sense) has helped me stave off the chaos in my mind and given me the energy and focus to tackle the bigger issues!

It's very rare that a hyper-successful individual shares the secrets to his/her success. I mean, most of the ones who are being asked will just answer "work hard" or something like that. Jordan actually breaks down what he needed to do to get where he is now and that is so valuable.

For people looking for tips, the key is to make blocks and follow the blocks based on your situation. Take a small break after each block. Once you start scheduling you're going to mess up a ton. Don't stop trying every single day to do it as close as you can. Also, eating a breakfast of protein/fat, waking up at the same time 7 days a week, exercising and meditation are very helpful and end up making the blocks even easier.

Don't be discouraged when you mess it up. It's very, very, very hard especially when the blocks are not externally monitored (like school, a job, etc.). I run a small business on my own and so there's no one who is checking in on my progress or status. This has been far more challenging than college classes, college sports or anything else I've done. You can't improve much day over day but over six months you can really make a huge change.

This video is so enlightening. Seeing a "normal" everyday person live similarly to someone like Jordan Peterson inspires me to do so in small ways each day!

I am a elementary school teacher and I preach writing in full sentences, texts etc. We know that writing and thinking benefits each other. So I cannot wrap my mind around it why we allow children to just cross out answers on test and fill in blanks instead of have them writing. I make my classes describe how and why they approached their art work, their math problem... parents fight me on this quite often, because it takes time and effort.

Being purposeful with our time is a great point. I find it better to take a nap during my free time than doing something useless for the sake of using up that free time. Even staring out a window is beneficial to my progress because my mind sort of resets and I regain a natural inspiration to continue doing important things during the day, or I regain clarity on what I need to feel happier

Loved the visuals of this video, jump cuts etc made it super interesting and I couldn’t pull myself away. I actually started listening to 12 rules for life today by JP. What a coincidence…

Loved this video! So cool that you did his daily routine, but also that you came up with the daily challenges and explained them as well! And great video editing too! 😍

I’m a 32 yo, been really struggling lately with my motivation and procrastination. Definitely going to give this week a shot. I know I’ve got it in me to work hard and be productive with my time but I feel my shadow has been taking the forefront for the last few months

So good. Many things I do I don’t consider work… Bible study, prayer, Pilates, writing (I’m a writer but it’s a joy to be creative) cooking, guitar practice…cleaning my room/house 😂 Thanks Ben! This helped me realize i do more than I think.

the most significant i see in this video is that you are doing something that most ancient savy and life coaches preach, that is to take a mentor and follow it, besides your great video of course; nice work man! keep it up

As a guy striving for greatness in life, this made me wanna try this routine… hoping to see more such videos from ya, keep em coming champ 🚀

I don't comment often, but I felt obligated. I actually laughed out loud at the "learning to write" section. Thank you for that!

Hey brother, I rarely comment on things but I wanted to reenforce that this is great content and you will definitely continue impacting others meaningfully if you keep it up. Thanks for taking the time to do a great job 👏🏽

Ben, way to be intentional in a world full of passivity. It’s easier to talk about things than to actually “do” them. Way to go! Inspiring.
