I have covered myself in bands. I am now invulnerable. Tremble before my limitless power.

I'm so glad I stumble across these shorts, I'm realizing a lot about my foundation that I could improve on.

Thank God for your videos. I've always been interested in physical therapy but your videos make it so much more simple to understand AND grasp.

Sometimes it can also be because of weak glutes.

After struggling with muscle and postural imbalances for over a year, being mindful of my ankles and wrist stability and positioning has been one of the game changers in improving my body mechanics. Thank you for your advice like always.

It would be great to see demonstrations also done with near/maximal loads

knee cave is a natural way of power production through internal tibial rotation and using the adductors. sticking it out won't help your squat max

One time i gave one of my female trainees a band to put around her knees to help with this problem. I could not believe my eyes. It's like she could not control her knees at all and her knees almost touched each other. I had to come up with different solutions.

First? Lol. This is good stuff bro. This is definitely getting added to the repertoire. I think I've seen it before but maybe it'll stick in my head this time. Thanks homie 🙏🏼

I do the knee butterfly movement on purpose, it almost guarantees I get enough power to grind out a heavy a rep

The simplest reason why your knee is caving in: your feet are too wide apart. Move your feet closer together and, magic, no knee cave.

If you're like I was and are ready to rage at me: "NO dude, I need my feet to be wide apart! Because..." You probably are overdoing it and don't need nearly as much width as you think. You also need less weight when they are closer together since it hits the quads harder and this can be a blow to the ego not being able to lift much more.

Knee cave is also called adductor whip and is a good thing in moderation

It seems as though the band isn't actually doing anything except reminding the squatter to think about spreading their toes outward which results in the naturally keeping your knees from caving in.

Is knee caving supposed to be normal for front squats? I see a lot of Olympic weighlifters doing knee caves during cleans.

I developed knee pain in the side of my knees where the meniscus are because I was forcing pushing my knees out after watching videos like this one... I've never had knee pain before when I wasn't forcing it and just caving my knees a little bit, I feel like caving in isn't that bad if you use good form and don't overdo it, it's natural and what your legs are supposed to do when lifting a heavy load, but maybe I'm wrong... Anyone had been through something similar?
