The most expensive macronutrient of your food is protein, and there is actually a very good advise - eat roast chicken (whole) and eggs as its main source. Cheese is more expensive. Meat is more expensive. Fish is more expensive (at least in Moscow). And nobody needs advise to buy carbs, it is too obvious. Rice, potatoes, oats, pasta - whatever you like. Veggies and fruits - eat them, but no need to buy much of them. French ppl have a great cuisine. Have a nice day.
