The way Brown (and Green) noise has been helping me fall back asleep, is amazing. Thank you for all the gems you’ve dropped☺️

I noticed journaling before sleep helps the thoughts leave my head. Somehow having things written take them out of your head.

I’m not diagnosed, but I’ve been watching a couple channels and all I can say is I relate to ALL of these things that get brought up. My cousin, uncle and his dad have ADHD so it’s not rare in our family. I am seriously considering getting diagnosed but for the minute, the struggle will continue to be real.

I can't over emphasize how much a morning walk has helped me with falling asleep. Get out, no sunglasses and walk or stroll it doesn't have to be any kind of fast paced walking, and just get some daylight. I'm also a white noise user, have been well before I was diagnosed with ADHD, I also take a melatonin supplement and almost every night I count backwards from 99 to get more sleepy.

Fkkk maaan this was the best tip someone ever gave me!!! I had so much difficulties with sleep because of overthinking but after practicing the tips of taking attention AWAY from my thoughts that make me overthink. So i break the cycle before it starts! Thanks for the tip

Before I was diagnosed I would listen to the Old Time Radio shows like Sherlock Holmes and Lights Out. They were interesting enough to make me listen a little but not so compelling that I would try and stay awake to hear the end. This was before podcasts and so I listened to them on cds. My brain became so conditioned that when I listen to them now (or podcasts) my brain just goes to sleep like it's trained Pavlov's dog. When I go to bed I set a timer on the podcast for 60 mins. Some nights I will wake up in the middle of the night wondering stupid things that I MUST Google like do birds have elbows, but after that I put on another podcast and I'm out like a light.

I literally wake up like clockwork, at 3-4am, with anxious thoughts about whatever it is I was worrying about that day. It's soooo hard to sleep.

ASMR is a life saver for me for sleep.

One of the things that has helped me is guided sleep meditation. I tend to relax. One is supposed to be lying down and meditating but I somehow end up falling asleep, so I take that as an advantage lol

The problem with my ADHD, is that I see sleep time as a “waste of time”.. sometimesI think.. “ All the things I would be doing/ learning instead of sleeping”
😩😩😩

I need 8-9 hours. I struggle if I don’t get them. A timer set for getting ready for bed helps. So does melatonin. I try to traine my mind not to think about things I don’t want to think about.

Something that keep impressing me in these vids is the fact that someone can make tea w/o forgetting to drink it or forget the water in the water boiler or sum, so many times too :0 Only my mom has adhd I don't but even I cant do that 😂

I have a problem with maintaining focus in studies even if i grew some confidence and feel motivated i tend to ruin my flow of studying once something pops up like a work or a notification 😕 but more importantly I can't even focus on a youtube video for far too long either if its not that much engaging and understandable.like i tend skip or rewind like 5-6 times a video and say like 5-6 videos atleast a day.i can't finish a youtube video at all.😢
